The Houston Rockets select with the 23rd pick in the draft....
Shooting Guard: Kobe Bryant, Lower Merion High School
Salary: 27.8 / 30.5
The Rockets are extremely happy to land a player like Kobe Bryant with the 23rd pick in the draft. Kobe may be aging but his game is still strong enough to make him on the the best players in the league. We considered taking Kobe in the first round; but was scared off by his contract yet he is to good to pass up on in the second round. We feel really strong with Kobe and Cousins moving forward. _________________

The Memphis Grizzlies select
Al Horford, PF/C
Horford is one of the best low post players in the league with a good contract. He is also only 26 years old. He is also an excellent complement to Dwyane Wade as he can stretch the floor a little bit and hit the mid range jumper.
Contract: 12.0 / 12.0 / 12.0 / 12.0 _________________

The Boston Celtics select PG Ricky Rubio
3.7 / 4.0 / 5.1 / 6.7
As GM of the Celtics, despite the relative depth of the point guard position, I was unable to pass up Rubio's amazing talent as a point guard. Rubio has a great knowledge of the game, he is a good defender, and I feel comfortable that this team will be able to develop a cadre of players who can develop around him. I expect Blake Griffin and Ricky Rubio to make sweet music on the parquet floor of the TD Bank North Garden.
