I was factoring in various reviews, Ourlad, Kiper, Pro Football Weekly, CBS, etc.

A franchise QB is hard to be beat. But I liked what the Giants did, and they didn't give up 2 1st round picks, so... Giants.

Franchise QB trumps all even with the additional picks thrown in. Considering their options last season was John Beck and Sexy Rexy, I had to go with the Redskins.

I mean look at the alternatives that the other QB needy teams did in the draft: Tannehill at 8 and Weeden in the first. Have to credit the Skins...

Potential franchise QB, hasn't played a single down in the NFL...

If RG III is a Pro Bowl QB, then the Redskins might make this close. If he is only a good starter, the Giants.

The simple fact that the Giants snagged Jayron Hosley with the second to last pick in the third round gives them the better draft. Well not really but I LOVE that pick and that's why Reese is the best in the biz.

I am still blown away how Hosley fell so far. He was the second best corner in this draft behind Claiborne. Aside from his size, he has very few minute flaws in his game. Future top 5 cornerback.

Guessing because he failed a drug test at the combine. I had a 2nd round grade on him, not too surprised after a failed drug test that he would drop to the 3rd round. I like him on the field though and he should be a good pick for the Giants.

Also people are sleeping on Keenan Robinson. He'll be a great pick for the Redskins...

Or it might have had to do with him being undersized, getting torched at times during 2011, having injury issues and lacking strength.

Janoris Jenkins is a far better CB than Jayron Hosley. Hosley is not even in my top 5 in this class. He went right where he should have.

Im a Giant fan and i agree his value to me was late 3rd. That was a weird pick. The Giants dont usually pick tiny DB's. The have the tallest defense in the NFL and when u consider the last 4 high CB picks were Webster,Ross, Thomas and Amukumara all over 6'0 and 195 didnt fit their MO at all, I guess with the influx of smaller quicker receivers they could be looking for some guys to match up

Jenkins is not a far better CB than Hosley. Hosley is way more athletic, faster, and has better ball skills. The only edge I give to Jenkins is his physicality, Hosley's got him beat everywhere else.

I'd go as far as to say that Hosley was the most athletic player in this draft. But I guess we'll have to wait and see how this class pans out.

Yea, Jenkins is and Hosley isn't even close to the most athletic player in this draft.

It's pretty obvious when you watch them play that Jenkins is better. He has better instincts, he's a better technician, he anticipates routes better and breaks on the ball better than Hosley. Not to mention him being much stronger and more physical.

Aside from him being stronger and more physical, the rest is extremely debatable.

It really isn't though, IMO. Jenkins was knocked for character concerns, not because he lacks ability. He isn't the greatest athlete, but that doesn't make him a poor corner. Hosley is faster, but Jenkins is more complete has plays better instinctive defense. I'll take his cover skills anytime over Hosley's athleticism. The big question mark surrounding Jenkins, as I noted earlier, is how he will fit in a locker room and whether or not he can stay out of trouble.
