I kinda figured this was what the "big announcement" they mentioned last night was going to be. Very exciting news. I wish I could be there for the game when it happens, that's going to be a really special moment in team history. _________________

All I heard in that video was, "Mr.Khan is doing business in Europe."
Jags are moving to Europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But seriously, well deserved for Freddy. _________________

Since the thread is Ring of Honor, I'm going to assume it's not just a Fred Tread.
Who's next, if there is a next out there?
I'd say Mark belongs, and maybe MJD in time. But I don't see anybody else going up in the next ten years at the earliest. _________________

Jimmy Smith is the only other one I could think of, but I wonder how much his past off the field issues will hold that one back. Seeing that he isn't already in, I'm not sure he will at all. _________________

I don't think he'll be up there any time soon and I don't object to it. Of course on the field, he's more than worthy. But a Ring of Honor makes the man a permanent representative of the franchise, and Jimmy just doesn't fit the bill. He only has himself to blame. _________________

As a gator fan and a Jaguar fan Fred Taylor is one of the best RB's I've ever had the pleasure too watch. One of the few who can match their tremendous talent with equal humility and integrity. He is one of the more underrated players too come out of the league in the last decade or so. No one is more deserving of this honor.
I'd say Mark is next seeing as he is finally done playing. He isn't an all-time great like you could argue Tony and Fred are but he was just as much of an integral part of our early success. This team is still trying to replace Mark Brunell. _________________ ...What? |

I agree about Mark. There's no magic in the early years without him. The same can also be said for Tom though. _________________

Darius should be considered, but not the others. _________________

Why not those 4? Searcy was an elite RT. Brackens is probably our best DE in our history, 55 sacks in 8 years isnt bad. Plus Aaron Beasley!!!! When I was a kid I use to pretend I was him when I was playing football. Loved playing CB _________________
