1. now that colon is moved to the interior of the oline. besides scott who is the other backup tackle?
2. will allen, saftey, is a good S.T player but he hasnt seen the field besides that since he got here. getting younger players that will play S.T maybe ends his career in pitt? |

They will re-sign Kemo and move him to Tackle...
I guess they like that Beachum kid they just drafted, and i think there's a pretty good chance Max will be back.
Could be right about Allen, but I don't see anyone bumping him this year. _________________

you almost made me throw up. i know the steelers have a couple of swing guys that can be decent for a backup but i would sleep alot better at night if starks can back cheap. |

Chris Scott
I'm hoping Myron Rolle or Cromartie-Smith takes Allen's job. Let's get some youth in there. _________________

Colon could still be a back-up at RT. If so, Legs can fill in for him at LG. _________________ "If you think you are too small to make a difference, you have never been in bed with a mosquito." Anita Roddick |

If anything I'm more concerned with offense's production rather than O-line. We have been top-10 offense team past few years with THE O-line we aren't supposed to win with. This O-line now ACTUALLY have the depth that we never had. Legursky, Foster, Starks maybe, and Essex who all already started on our O-line now will be back-ups (Starks, with an exceptional if Adams show enough to start or something) so with way I see it; if one goes down, we will have a back-up moving in and play rather than moving a starting guard to tackle (Ramon Foster for example) which we did before. I don't think we will do that anymore, thankfully.
I don't like Will Allen but have anyone showed enough to replace him? Until somebody step up, he's going to be here... at least until next season when his contract expire. I'm not sure if this is a good thing; we haven't had the need to play Will Allen in some packages because we have Ryan Mundy or Mundy is playing a lot because Will Allen just simply don't do it. Hopefully we will know more enough to understand which situation we are in. It could be both, Mundy just have a better athleticism to catch up rather than getting burnt and stuff. |
