I see my hotel is going to be right on the Fox River, anyone know if that's any good? I'll be checking in later tonight, thanks! |

I was talking fishing-wise. What makes the river the "dirtiest river ever"? Obviously it's going through a town of ~100,000 people but is there some sort of company that is pouring pollutants into it or something? |

100+ years of paper mills dumping into it and very little action taken to get it cleaned up. Paper mills are nasty. |

| Well I walked down to the East River which leads into the Fox(also noticed the East river gets polluted in aswell) and caught a handful of rockies and smallies, two crappies and a carp. Was hoping to get some walleye but I think that river is too shallow. Nonetheless still decent fishing, or better than expected. Thanks for the input though, guys. |

| Going to the Saints game on the 30th, will be staying in Appleton via Chicago. Anybody ever tailgate at Favre's steakhouse? Getting the ticket/tailgate deal thru the Packers and the tailgate is a Favre's place. |
