Florence is a good one. I am going to go with Sealver Siliga and Eric Page. While I don't expect either to put up monster #'s, I think both will be solid contributors and fulfill their roles on the roster well. Siliga as a rotational space consuming run stopper and Page as a returner who could potentially get some reps as the 3rd or 4th receiver.

I think Moore may be a pleasant surprise. I've noticed that his name is brought up, unbidden, in quite a few pressers, Del Rio and Fox both.

Apparently he's put in the time this winter, added some good weight and is working hard to improve the mental aspects. Given his physical attributes and good coaching he may surprise us all. We sure need it.

I'd like to see Rahim Moore take advantage of the extra offseason time compared to last year. I genuinely like the guy and hope he can become the player we need for the future of our secondary.

I expect Wesley Woodyard to be a surprise player for the Broncos this year. Thanks for D.J. Williams he will be given a larger role and I'd bet he takes advantage of it.

Without a doubt it will be Mike Adams. Not many people around here know how good of a player he really is.

Im saying these guys are also in consideration:
-Derek Wolfe
-Nate Irving
-Sealver Siliga
-Joel Dreesen

Robert Ayers, if giving ample playing time will be our best all around defensive lineman this year.

Most improved: Moore.
Most suprising as in "I didn't expect this sort of impact": Tamme.

Good list, but I'm not sure they'd be considered surprises. Irving and Siliga would be, but I think many of us are expecting good things from the other three.

I do like what I've heard of Siliga so far.

I feel like no one is talking about Mike Adams. Everyones talking about Rahim and Carter taking the next step as a 2nd year player in the league. Im really excited to have Adams here and think he will start day 1. I believe his play will surprise a lot of people.

I personally don't see the hype surrounding our 2nd year safeties, specifically Moore. He showed absolutely nothing last year, not even a handful of flashes that you would normally expect from high draft picks.

Carter was competent for a rookie but I do hope Moore can be replaced. If Mike Adams can at least wrap up and tackle, I would pencil him as day 1 starter right now.

Well, Mike Adams is from Jersey...

In all seriousness though that guys been an underrated pro through his career. He's produced when given the minutes, and I think you're right he's probably the day one starter.

Of the rookies I expect Derrick Wolfe to make a pretty good impact. He's got that relentless mentality, the no snaps off approach that we have lacked from inside pass rushers.

Also of the rookies I think Philip Blake will find a starting job and run with it whether that be as a guard or a center.

Finally for the rookies I think Hillman is going to have a good impact as a 3rd down scat back, catching passes and providing a burst as a runner.

My hope is that Omar Bolden establishes himself as a promising CB prospect in his first year in Denver, thats a guy whose got me excited as far as upside goes, but the defensive backfield has become quite crowded.

Of the vets, I think Julius Thomas turns heads in training camp once again. Not sure it translates to regular season production, but I expect him to wow once again in training camp this year. The potential is certainly still there, but the position has some solid vets in front of him now who are also capable blockers. I wouldn't be surprised to see Thomas see more game action in this offense as a pass catcher though.

I don't expect a sophomore slump from Chris Harris. I think he's got the mental strength to succeed in the NFL even as a UDFA.

At the end of the season, Joel Dreessen's receiving stats are a pleasant surprise.

Eric Decker will have a better first year with Manning than Demaryius Thomas will. (DT will still be very good).

Mark Dell makes the roster as a back end receiver.

More predictions than listing a breakout player.

True, there's not much conversation regarding Adams but I expect he'll be starting day 1 alongside either Moore or Carter.

One of the reasons I'm expecting something of moore is the frequency his name is brought up by coaches. Thats something they wouldn't do if they thought he was a bust. They wouldn't voluntarily bring him up otherwise.

I am excited to watch Wolfe. We haven't had that kind of high motor guy for ages. Guys like that drive O Linemen nuts.

I also agree with elliot and think Blake will step in at LG early if not at day 1.
