Lindholm to Anaheim at 6. Very surprised they went that direction.

Hampus Lindholm to Anaheim. I expected him to go in the teens. Very, very intriguing prospect and a very intriguing selection.

They took the wrong Swede.

Heard nothing but good things about Lindholm . Just as fast of a riser as OEL was in his draft year. Pierre gushing all over him on TSN right now Laughing

I wanna hear a Carey Price-esque rant from Pierre tonight. Laughing

Dumba is gone now to the Wild. Good pick, very solid prospect.

Nice haul for the Pens.

They should take Forsberg here.

The Staal trade has happened. To Carolina as expected. 1st rounder, Sutter, and Demoulin (sp?).

Jordan Staal to Hurricanes to match up with his brother. Crazy. Pittsburgh got a nice package in return. I wonder who they're going to take; I hope they don't take Forsberg, but I think that's who it'll be.

Dumoulin. Impressive return for Ray Shero considering this guy turned down a megadeal yesterday.

Staal got married today and traded. I think he'll remember this day for awhile.

I didn't understand Pittsburgh fans reaction(as in hooray!) when Bettman announced Jordan Staal as part of the deal.

They must've known Staal rejected that deal yesterday and with Staal out of the picture the Pens have a much better chance to fit Malkin and Crosby under the cap. Much more pressure on Shero to get both deals done, though.

Pouliot goes to Pittsburgh. Interesting choice and IMO a bit early. Very much like a guy already in Pittsburgh, Kris Letang. Needs to work on his defensive game, but is a good puck moving Dman prospect.

They really need to make a rule preventing teams from rambling before their picks. Just make the pick, and move on.

Solid pick for the Jets.
