I'm not sure which is more appalling: that you think the Patriots are likely to miss the playoffs while the Jets make it, or that you give the Patriots a RB when that clearly isn't their biggest need. |
I'm appalled that anyone would still be suprised by my low expectations of the Patriots. It's like I've been invisible these last four years. _________________

We don't talk about draft order.

Okay, the Bills trade up from 12 to 5 to take the second offensive tackle off the board when they could have their pick of any Wide Receiver or the second QB for a chance to get a real franchise player? Not to mention they'd probably have to give up their second rounder for that pick. So they're waiting for the third round again to get a WR?
The Bills ran more four receiver sets than any other team last year, and very rarely ran with only two. Stevie Johnson in the best receiver they have and even he isn't a star. With so much need, at some point you have to start trying for some elite talent at the position. Taking the top WR in the draft just has more value to the team in this situation.
QB would be as well. I think more highly of Fitzpatrick than most, but he's never going to be an elite QB. If Bills finish 12th again, he like proved I thought too highly of him as it was. You like to hope it will be a long time before your team has a chance at the second QB off the board again, so that's a very real possibility beside WR. |

^^^^^The thought process is that Taylor Lewan will be a "blue chip" prospect and he fits a need for the Bills. But I could go Barkley at five and Lewan to Arizona because I never really liked Barkley to Arizona anyway. It's an interesting thought. _________________

| No. Not a DT. The Colts don't need a NT, we have Josh Chapman out of Bama as the future there. If a CB is good enough to go 2 spots later, we take him. |

If Seahawks trade up to 16 and still land Woods, that'd be awesome. Love what he brings to the field. _________________
