Rosol really impressed me today.
Especailly that last service game. Normally you see a guy fall apart there, but that was one of the best service games I've seen in a long time. _________________

This is one of the biggest upsets in history, and not just for tennis. The 100th ranked player beating arguably a top 5 player of all-time in his prime, 2x Wimbledon Champion, participant in the last 5 Grand Slam finals and 5 Wimbledon finals that he had played, a player who hadn't lost in the 2nd round of a Slam since he was a teenager, etc. Just unbelievable.
Like McEnroe said, Rosol reminded me of Soderling when he's in the zone. He was hitting every single ball as hard as he could and there was nothing Nadal could do about it in the 5th set.
Nadal was already clearly frustrated and flustered, but I think Rosol throwing his racket into the net after winning really, really irked Nadal.
Considering his playing history I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Rosol lose in straight sets in the next round. _________________

Rosol played one of the most impressive matches I've seen by any tennis player ever.
I'm fully expecting him to get steamrolled in the next round though. History says he just magically caught fire for this match. I'm sure he'll come back down to earth in due time. I'll be rooting for him though. He's definitely fun to watch. _________________

Rosol played a hell of a match, he deserved to win.
As for Nadal, this dude disappointed me, he didn't seem the same, if I were him, I'd honestly pull out of the Olympics and do some soul searching/rest and get ready for the US Open. _________________

What?
1. Players have bad matches/bad days
2. Even if it was an issue you don't pull out of the olympics. He has a month to figure it out before they start. _________________

Yeah, mentally he didn't seem the same compared to before. and besides, if he plays the Olympics, he'd be a bigger injury risk and he always has an injury around the US Open anyway. Its best if he just took time off. _________________

He shouldn't play because he might get injured? Wow. _________________

You know what I mean, for a dude who gets injured frequently especially around the US Open it'd be smart not to play at the Olympics, he's already won Gold there, no point to prove anything there. _________________

He's already won the US Open. No need to play that either.

On checking on how many points Nadal's lost due to the exit, he needs to play a lot. Fed will overpass him for 2. _________________

I don't think Nadal did anything wrong today. People saying he wasn't right or wasn't physically healthy or whatever... what gave you that impression? Nadal was moving fine, hitting the ball exactly the same as he normally does. The difference is that Rosol on the other side of the court was simply unstoppable - he'll never play a match like that again in his career. It was like he was a robot programmed to hit every single line perfectly in the last set.
Murray and Tsonga are loving this. Big chance to make a Wimbledon final. _________________

Yeah. Honestly, Nadal didn't even get a chance to "play poorly." The points didn't last long enough.
That was one man having the match of his life, plain and simple. _________________

Good thing about the Nadal's early exit, then Brian Baker can continue his magical run. _________________
