I didn't watch the Tigers game tonight butbfrom the box score it doesn't look like Verlander has his best stuff tonight.

In-case you guys didn't look it up, yeah, detfan is full of it. 1 for 5 is not on-par with Berry's career minor league numbers, so he is just spewing straight BS.

It seemed like every time he threw a fastball, they were sitting on it and were looking for it exactly where it went. His off speed stuff wasn't great, so he was kind of forced to throw more fastballs. Oh and Avila can't call a game to save his life.

Yeah, that was where it was the worst. The Indians were still making good contact before the 7th, but that inning they finally started making great contact.

Simple stats. Try fan graphs were it has extended stats. Now I understand y people think he is good. Using basic stats is like 10 years ago. Modern day extended stats show more
