You made a TON of key stops on 3rd downs in FG range..
The difference between holding me to 3 so many times almost stole the game for you.. _________________

And then my defense blew it with a minute left, rough loss. My OGs suck something awful. _________________ RTR

Another great game. Really wasn't sure going into week 4, but Matt Schaub has played great the past two weeks |

Wow... my defense performed a lot better than I initially thought.
My defense forced 7 three-and-outs
One of them was an INT on third down, and the last one was a 4 down turnover on downs late in the game, but man, I love how my defense comes to play.
Give up points, but always give my team the lead late in the game, and don't give it up late. JJ in particular comes up big on the opponents final drive with tons of coverages.
Offensively...
I've scored 23, 23, 24, 23, 24 points.
I think it's safe to say I will maintain 23 or 24 points for most of the season
Can only hope my defense keeps opposing teams below that 23 point level. _________________

Yeah, but before I say my jist, a back story.
So I'm in the U.S. helping out a youth retreat in the backwoods. Walked 25 miles a few days ago....wasn't fun, and I still don't know how many kilometers that is...
Anywho, there's a small library that has 5 computers with slow internet and that's how I got my way online today. One of the mods can check my IP for reference......there's a lot of mosquitos and it's hot.
Anyway....yeah.....80 yard run on the first pl;ay of Overtime eh? That's what my 70 aggression defense gets me?? Honestly though anyone else surprised at how good my defense has been in terms of pass protection with sacks and tackles for loss? I'd like Victor Cruz' blog to be posted in the OP if that's fine Nacho. I think my defense is about average in most rankings.
Carson Palmer fumbling at the 5 did not help. What a bum.
But.....#1 in the division through 5 weeks....so....good??
Looking forward to Friday and the battle of the undefeated. Gunning for Pirates. _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

LeSean McCoy took a dump all over your defense.
I could not believe it, I actually laughed when I watched it. |

Three quarters of defense and then one of offense.
Was 3-0 Tacoma at HT. Ravens have a tough offense to try and stop and that defense... _________________

Just realized how much I've played on the road. In the first 5 weeks I've played home once and still maintained a 5-0 record. Next week I travel to East Carolina to take on the Pirates @ 5-0. Definitely a huge test for both teams.
Really not Harpers biggest fan since he traded the Pirates Cam Newton |

Tacoma has a great rush defense and it had me on my toes when Rice or Charles couldn't get anything going.
The turning point was early in the game, when I held Tacoma to two field goals on drives that had a lot of momentum |

... Andy Dalton just doesn't know how to throw to the endzone...
Good game waffles. My defense just clamped down in overtime. _________________

I'm also very pleased with the way Peter Konz, Stephon Gilmore and Quinton Coples have played up to this point in the season. I thought for sure that Konz would be my worst lineman, but I'm pretty sure that belongs to Brandon Albert right now. I didn't really expect much for Coples, but he's played well it seems like, don't think he has a sack yet, but he's holding his own. I LOVE the way Gilmore is playing, he's forced fumbles in numerous games, and has come up with some big tackles when needed. |

Strangely enough my rush defense has been getting gashed most of the year. I think Cofield had by far his best game of the season and Kendricks played a solid first game as a rook.
I could feel the game slipping early in the 3rd quarter when Schaub started ripping off 20 yard chunks of yardage at will. From that point I was playing catchup and that is not an easy thing to do against that D, especially when Cutler was struggling. _________________

Man, this might be the regular season game of the year.
Two undefeated teams, 5-0 with only one other team in the league even at 4 wins, going head to head...
Going to post a 'matchup' look at the two teams.
This game could determine which team goes on to win the division and solidify homefield, and which team will have to go on the road.
It'll also show whether my team is a legit contender, or merely a pretender. _________________
