Ironically, I also missed it. I assumed it wouldn't draft since the league wasn't full... oops.
I'm going to see if I can reset everything and redraft. |
Yeah they should have something like that where if you can't get online for the draft in time and it's not full it automatically keeps pushing it back an hour so the league can get full.
If you can reset everything that would be great because there's no way I'd take Brady in a dynasty that early regardless of how good he is. Also now I'm really glad I missed it, would've sucked to spend a few hours picking than restart because I didn't notice the league wasn't full yet |
I did reset it, and set the new draft time for Monday at 6 PM EST. Provided we can get those last three slots filled, of course. _________________ With much cheese,

For some reason I'm not being allowed into the draft I tried turning off pop up blocker but that's not working either I'll work with the team I'm given though. _________________

Thats weird... Maybe you didnt have the correct version of Java installed?
| Quote: | | I don't understand some of the scoring rules. |
Which ones? I can try to explain them. I've been developing these fantasy rules over the course of the last 5 seasons.
Probably the hardest rule to understand is part of this league's DST scoring:
- 20 extra points when total Points Allowed is greater than or equal to 0.
- -1 point for every 2 Offensive + Special Teams Points Allowed for the first 20 total Offensive + Special Teams Points Allowed (-0.5 per)
- -1 point for every 35 Net Yards Allowed for the first 350 total Net Yards Allowed (-0.03 per)
Basically, when your game starts, your DST starts with 20 points (The first rule), guaranteed. Your DST then loses those points depending on points & yardage allowed.
The second rule applies to points allowed. Your DST loses 0.5 points per each point your DST allows (offensive & ST points only, defensive TD and safeties are excluded), up until 20. If your team allows 20 points or more, your team loses 10 of that 20 bonus points.
The third rule applies to yards allowed. Your DST loses ~0.0286 points per each yard your DST allows (rounded to the nearest hundreth), up until 350. If your team allows 350 yards or more, your team loses 10 of that 20 bonus.
The overall affect is your DST gets bonus points for holding the opponent's score to below 20, their yards under 350, or both. This rule was developed because I never felt fantasy DSTs correctly compensated for solid play, and instead focused on sacks and turnovers. It makes it so when a defense holds the opponent to 10 points or a low amount of yardage but didn't necessarily get any sacks or turnovers, they still get a decent amount of fantasy points.
If you want to see the rule in action, while in our league, select a DST and view its 2011 stats. If you click on "Points" for a particular week, you can see the fantasy scoring breakdown for that week. Perhaps an example will show you how it works.
Also, keep in mind this league uses fractional scoring. _________________ With much cheese,

Maybe you should actually fill your starting roster.

Yeah I traded away all my picks that could be traded for the core of my team that's hopefully here for a long time. All I need to do is sustain that core with my keeper picks and find just one diamond in the rough when I basically pick up all my roster. _________________
