Very impressed with Wiggins time coming in at #2.
Sad to see no Andy Schleck, he has been my favourite rider since I started watching the Tour a few years ago.
Sky and Wiggins have a legitimate chance to run the rule over this tour.

The amount of ITT kilometres in this is going to make the mountains a lot more interesting. The likes of Samu Sanchez and other climbers who struggle against the clock are going to have to attack/push the pace earlier and for longer.
However the fact that Wiggo has another GC contender (Froome) on his team and the likes of Rodgers and Porte as domestiques I don't see any way other than a crash that Wiggo does not win this tour.
He should smash the clock and have a team that is good enough to get him to the top of mountains quickly, and even then if he is isolated Wiggo can hang with the best on tempo, it is just the up and down acceleration that he struggles with and with no Contador and no Andy there there will be less of that.
Wiggo to win comfortably, with a battle for the other podium places coming from the likes of Evans, Nibali, Sanchez, Gesink and JVDB.
Sagan to win the green jersey.

Wheres the guy not on the juice. Now that is like Where's Wally, except you don't have the Red and White stripes to identify him.
But seriously. I have no doubt that there are athletes in the peloton that are still juicing, but there is evidence (average speeds, times up climbs et al) that point to it being a lot less prevalent that it was in the early 2000's when if you were not on the juice you were not going to the Tour.

He has a gear that most cannot get to these days. But of all time is a big assertion. He is mid 20's and going to break the record for TdF stage wins, but there were some very good sprinters in the early 90's though 00's that were in competition with each other a lot of the time for stage wins.
If we are honest Cav has not really had any sprint competition in the past 2-3 years. Greipel at his best was on the same team as him. Hushovd is past is as is Boonen. Petacchi gave one good tour.
Best in the pack right now, undoubtedly. Best ever, not yet.

It wouldn't have made any difference who was up against him. The lead out train he had at HTC was unrivaled, also factoring in the sheer speed Cav has its an almost impossible task. The fact that Cav has shown he can do it without a train (World Championships + TDF) adds to the legitimacy that he is the greatest ever.
Cipollini rode in 13 Giros, 6 TDF's and 1 Vuelta. He won a total of 57 grand tour stages, with 42 coming in the inferior Giro.
Cav on the other hand has ridden 5 Giros, 6 TDF's and 2 Vueltas. He has a total of 34 grand tour victories, with 21 in the vastly superior TDF.
Cav won 9 more TDF stages in his 6 attempts, and he is only 2 stages into this years tour. Cav has done what nobody else has ever been able to do in winning the last stage on the Champs Elysées 3 times in a row. He has also won the green jersey at both the TDF and Vuelta. Cipollini was never ever able to finish the TDF. At the end of his career, baring and injuries, he will undoubtedly be the king of sprint, I personally already think he is.

I have to agree with kempus here, no-one currently comes close to Cavendish in sprinting terms and if he continues his path for even just another 3-4 years he will be the best sprinter of all time.
Although I would say Team GB did an excellent job in the World Championships.

Mark Cavendish is absolutely unreal. Did anybody else just see the Intermediate sprint? Cav was able to turn around and trash the other rider at the front and still ran out a comfortable winner. The guy is a phenom
