Kstate is running him into the ground. He'll have so much tread on his tires before he even playes an nfl game.
Not only that, but he is far off from your prototypical quarterback. He's closer to Tebow than he is any other starting QB. (Which I like Tebow, and Klein too [in the college game], but neither one is a recipe for success). |

See this why I said people will disagree with me. I can understand people thinking he'll be worn down but what I see a super competitive guy who's progressing. I could be wrong but I think K-State will open up the pass game more with him this year. He was really raw last year but I've seen the instincts and awareness you look for in QB prospects...he has them. All things which I never saw in Tebow as far as a QB.
Anyway like I said, people will disagree but we'll see what happens this year. I usually have unpopular hunches about players and I've been more right than wrong so...we'll just have to wait and see.
Best believe I'll be back here to remind people if I'm right though. _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

| I'll eat the crow if I'm wrong. He's a fantastic college QB, but I've not seen the pocket awareness myself that is needed from an NFL QB. |

Just watch the games closer jrry...He was really raw but you see it subtly in moments which is why I believe he could take a leap in his progression this year.
No need to bang your head...I'm not saying he's Andrew Luck. _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

I'm banging my head at the claim that Tebow didn't show instincts or awareness at the position. Those were never issue. His horrendous mechanics, sporadic accuracy and questions surrounding his ability to read defenses and go through progressions were all valid issues for him.
I do see Klein similarly as Tebow. _________________

I was talking about Tebow as a passing QB. Not overall. I see the characteristics in Klein to be a successful pocket passer that I never saw in Tebow while he was at Florida.
That's all I was saying there.
Tebow used to wind up in college and get stripped by DE's from behind. I see Klein having better awareness within the pocket with subtle moves when defenders get near...that's the kind of stuff that surprised me the more and more I watched him which lead me to believe he does have the traits you look for...albeit they are very raw. _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

I do know this. Don't want to go off on Tebow, I didn't bring him up to begin with but lets just say I see more in Collin than Tim in terms of attributes as a QB prospect at the collegiate level.
Take it for what it's worth I guess. _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

The next superstar QB no one has heard of yet is....
Brett Smith, Sophomore, Wyoming.
Guy is going to be a stud in the NFL. _________________

He played against us last year. Was much more impressed with little Carr (Fresno State) out of the QB's we faced in outer conference. |

buy this man a beer he just gave the correct name. Aaron Murray will compete with Barkley for the top QB. |
I want Murray on the Cowboys next year. |
Murray and Murray offense for the future?
Do you think if wilson has a below average year for whatever reason or gets injured (knock on wood) jerry will try to get him? probably a 1% chance but i'd love to see him go there for the future if JJ gives up on romo, even though im not a romo hater |

for the Aaron Murray fans out there, there's nothing you get in Murray, that you don't get out of Aplin (who can be had much later). _________________
