This is also totally forgetting about Stefen Romero, Catricala, F-Mart, Pimentel, Marder and Littlewood.

F-Mart and Pimentel have legit star ceilings. Romero is most likely at least a solid regular, same with Marder and Millwood.

As for Miller, way too early to say much about him moving, and if he does, it will be to CF, so not really a big deal.

Not going to pretend like I know the Mariners system outside the top few, but is this really any different than me or anyone else over-evaluating their latter portion of their farm system.

The day Nick Franklin plays SS at the MLB level is the day that happens.

Well Franklin will play a lot of SS in Seattle and be adequate.

Quote:
Franklin received consideration for the No. 1 spot, thanks to his absolute domination at the plate from the left side and his more than adequate play at shortstop. He's still sub par as a right-handed batter, which keeps his overall numbers down, but those who continue to say he should move to second should just stop talking. He's no Gold Glover, but he's good enough.

Hi hater. Wink

No, Mesa always does this. The back half of their top 10 prospects all have the potential to be stars and good regulars. This should be nothing new to you. Laughing
