Not going to pretend like I know the Mariners system outside the top few, but is this really any different than me or anyone else over-evaluating their latter portion of their farm system.

No, Mesa always does this. The back half of their top 10 prospects all have the potential to be stars and good regulars. This should be nothing new to you.
