I love the confidence. I understand this is the additude of all coaches but I feel we are more determined than ever and have the majority of pieces to win now.

I love the confidence, and although I don't expect it this year, it is possible they make the playoffs. Every team should go in to the season thinking they can do the ultimate, otherwise, why play the games?

RGIII is a baller and the Redskins have the weapons to let him make it happen. Shanahan expects this team to make the playoffs because it should. It's coach-speak this time of year, but having a QB with RGIII's arm strength there will be plenty of holes to exploit, even for a rookie.
Unless something happens with Trent or RGIII, I think the offense can keep producing if anyone else happens to go down. Give the defense an opportunity to be opportunistic and I think you see a totally different team.
