An article on Hogshaven talking about it. Heath Shuler currently holds the Redskins rookie records for yards(2,337) and TDs(1 which both seem rather fair to expect RG3 to break IMO. What do you think? Does Griffin take the title away from Shuler?
| Quote: | | I believe Griffin can break these records because of the sheer amount of times we pass in a game. At times our Pass to run ratio has been frighteningly lopsided (3-1), because of Kyle Shanahan's passing scheme. |

I just saw this polling what QB records he could break. I didn't realize JC had a record at QB for us.
| Quote: | Jay Schroeder(1986): 4,109 Passing Yards 25 38.46%
Sonny Jurgensen(1967): 31 TD Passes 21 32.31%
Jason Campbell(2009): 64.5% Pass Completion (highest in true attempts & in 16 game season)
42 64.62%
Mark Rypien(1991): 8.5 Yards Per Pass Attempt (highest in true attempts & in 16 game season)
31 47.69%
Norm Snead(1963): 17.4 Yards gained Per Pass Completion (highest attempts & in 14 game season)

http://mobile.hogshaven.com/2012/7/6/3140398/possible-for-griffin-to-break-redskins-rookie-records | Damn, I didn't realize Shuler had 18 tds as a rookie. That's totally shocking!
Yes he can break both, but I'd put more of my money on the yards (which seems low) than the tds, which seems to be around my prediction for Griffins rookie year. _________________

Jay Schroeder(1986): 4,109 Passing Yards 25 38.46% | the yards are pretty high for Griffin, but it's possible. Is the 25... 25 tds?
| Quote: | | Sonny Jurgensen(1967): 31 TD Passes 21 32.31% | yeah, not going to happen
| Quote: | Jason Campbell(2009): 64.5% Pass Completion (highest in true attempts & in 16 game season)
42 64.62% | definitely possible but I think griffin is more around 60%, not 64
| Quote: | Mark Rypien(1991): 8.5 Yards Per Pass Attempt (highest in true attempts & in 16 game season)
31 47.69% | again it's possible, but I don't expect it
| Quote: | | Norm Snead(1963): 17.4 Yards gained Per Pass Completion (highest attempts & in 14 game season) | there is no way I see that happening, that's an amazing feat by Snead _________________

Well sonny wasnt a rookie when he played for us. Jason didnt start until his 2nd year I thought and im just gonna assume Jay wasnt a rookie eathier when he threw gor 4000 yds being that would have been the record Cam just broke not Peytons. Now im gonna asume those are all just single season records for us and honestly I think they all in time will be surpassed by our franchise guy! As for the actual rookie records he should have most of them 3/4 through the season except TDs. _________________

Those aren't implied as rookie records. Theyre redskins all time QB records. _________________

In the second post though I figured it out when it said (09) next to Campbell's record. _________________

I got it after the post lol but I could honestly see him breaking all our passing records if he stays healthy. I feel like all our great QBs except Sammy Ball were drafted by another team! its our turn to have our guy put up numbers over his carreer that lead all team catagories _________________
