All four teams were 7-9 or 8-8.
Denver added Peyton Manning.
KC gets back Jamaal Charles, Tony Moeaki, Matt Cassell and Eric Berry.
Oakland has Cardson Palmer for Training Camp and a full season.
San Diego has what is widely regarded as the best team on paper.
My opinion is a matter of record. What do you think?

I love what KC is building with speed and athleticism.
I expect them to win the division at 10-6 this year _________________

And being from Cleveland, you should also know just how awesome of a coach Crennel is.
Denver will win this one _________________

Wow, this poll so far is surprising to me. I suppose folks are wary of picking Denver until they see how well Peyton performs? _________________

I like the Chiefs and Chargers to tie or finish 1 game apart and take the 4th seed.
Going with the Chiefs for now. I think their defense has a chance to be special. Not much on offense but if they can run the ball like they did in 2010 and get some explosive plays from Charles they should be able to win a lot of games. _________________

That, and 36 year old QBs have issues in other respects. Denver strikes me as a .500 team. 8-8 was good enough last year, but I do not expect it to be sufficient again.
Also, the pull the division winners in the two extra games. They would be the Patriots and the Texans. Such is the fate of division winners.

Chiefs. will be a top 5 defense in the NFL this year, will more than likely have a top 3 running game (probably #1 again if Charles stays healthy) Cassel has a TON of good weapons to misthrow to. Good special teams.
yep Chiefs win at 11-5
We will most certainly lose in Rnd 1 of the playoffs though (unless by some miracle Matt Cassel isn't the QB at that point) _________________

The Chiefs will have a top 3 defense and a top 3 rushing attack if everyone important stays healthy. And our special teams is also really good. Colquitt, Succop, and McCluster/Arenas.
I got the Chiefs here. I would have loved to see how unstoppable our team could have been had Manning been willing to take less money to play here. _________________

Not that they couldn't but it's far from a sure thing. |
