OK, well, I understand if it is also Vetoed but before it is agreed to, I will propose this trade so we have more than 48 hours to gather everyone's opinion.....
What does everyone think of Central's offered trade of:
Colston and Benjarvis Green- Ellis
for
Foster and Rice
I am also up to suggestions if anyone can see another trade between the two that would be fairer in their opinion...
or, I will also just put it out there...FOSTER IS ON THE BLOCK. Am looking for a starting RB and a Good WR.......suggested trades can be posted here so that we have more than 48 hours for trades to assesed
By the way, the rosters on the actual FleaFlicker website are more up-to-date than the ones on the draft page, so feel free to look at my roster and combine someone with Foster to help a suggested trade work if you'd like
Does that work?? Trying to make it easier |
That trade would get a veto from me as well. It's not nearly as lopsided, but I still don't like it. Neither Colston or BGE are really superstars in the way that Foster is. If the trade was something like Johnson/Johnson/Fitzgerald/Jennings/Jones/Green and BGE, I probably wouldn't have an issue because there's roughly equal value being traded then. |
Honestly, I'd be really open to some kind of three-way trade if needed because I am actually really high on Blackmon....Just putting that out there. _________________

That's far more fair than anything else around here.
Green-Ellis could be a top 10 fantasy back by the end of the year. Similarly, while not an elite option, Colston is a low-end number one fantasy option. He downgrades slightly from Foster to BGE and upgrades big time from Rice to Colston. Provides him with more depth, which he needs and admitted to needing, and it gives me a solid number one half back.
I'm not sure it's fair that everyone is basing value off their "rankings" rather than the needs of each member.
Whatever the case, I couldn't care less. I know what I have in BGE and Colston and I'm content with keeping them. _________________

It's completely understandable. BGE could very well be a top running back, and as I said it's not nearly as bad as the previous one in my eyes. In this case, it's at least somewhat reasonable as a trade. But the trade that was just vetoed I have the big issue with. The BGE/Colston one? Not so much. _________________

I wasn't directing it at you as much as I was in general toward the league members. _________________

And that's exactly why I list players' bye weeks on my big board . If there's a couple of RBs I'm looking at for my second starting spot, chances are I'll take the #2 ranked guy on my board if the #1 has the same bye as my RB1. _________________

Two starting caliber players for Foster? Are you actually joking right now with that logic? I can't take you seriously. It's going through no matter what. Deal with it. He gets what he needs, which is more talent, and I get a running back. _________________

Well, if this gets vetoed...here is another trade I have been offered....
Michael Turner
Justin Blackmon
Fred Davis
For
Arian Foster
Sidney Rice/Jason Avant
Coby Fleener
Either way...I'm willing to give up Foster because I know I can get good value for him in return so.....If you veto...please, maybe give what you would change or alternate trades that I can work with. It would be GREATLY appreciated _________________
