Well right now you only have Lamb and Martin officially at the 2, and I'm willing to bet Martin is moved sooner rather than later, so it's not a bad idea to have a veteran like Delfino come in on a one year deal to backup your future starter at shooting guard (Lamb).
Or you'd have to HOPE that was the reasoning behind the move lol. _________________

We waived Harrelson to make room for Delfino. We still have 20 players. _________________

We signed Scott Machado to a 3 year partial guaranteed contract. He will compete with Toney Douglas for the backup PG spot behind Lin. _________________

some guys on espn had White rated in the top 5 on their draft boards, i think the only problem was he might have been a little over weight and his mental problems, if he can overcome that he might be a steal for us in the future
Does anyone want to create a fantasy Basketball league this season? _________________

Best news this offseason! Calvin Murphy is back!!!!!!!
http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2012/09/calvin-murphy-returning-to-rockets-telecasts/
| Quote: | Basketball Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy said Tuesday he will end a long, difficult period of his life by making a new start as a member of the Rockets broadcast team on Comcast SportsNet Houston.
Murphy, who was removed from the teams broadcasts 8 ½ years ago in the midst of legal issues that resulted in his eventual acquittal, will work as a studio analyst on Rockets pregame and postgame shows on CSN Houston. Bill Worrell, Clyde Drexler and Matt Bullard will return as game broadcasters. |
I wish they kicked Drexler out and put Murphy in the broadcast booth like old times.
OK now for the predictions:
PG Jeremy Lin: 15 PPG 8 APG
SG Kevin Martin: 19 PPG
SF Chandler Parsons 9 PPG 5 RPG (improves his free throws and shoots 75 percent from the charity stripe.)
PF Patrick Patterson 8 PPG 6 RPG
C Omer Asik 4 PPG 10 RPG 2 BPG
*I think we traded Martin at least by the deadline
*At least one of the rookies (Royce White, Terrence Jones) will be in the D-League
*Jeremy Lamb gets minutes backing up Martin and will start when we trade K-Mart
*Jeremy Lamb makes the rookie/sophmore games (what ever they call it)
*Jeremy Lin will get a ton of votes in the ASG since it's in Houston.

I love how they had almost our whole roster as "Laid Back"
Lin a 77 is a shock. If he was still with the Knicks he would have been in the 80's. _________________

Delfino (visa problems), Brockman (eye injury) and Royce White (personal matter that is said to be his anxiety disorder) are the only Rockets who have missed the 1st practice of TC today. McHale doesnt know when White will return to the team.
Rockets fans already freaking out about White and his disorder.
It's too early to say. I'd rather him deal with it during TC/Preseason than him dealing with it during the season. _________________
