so Derozan for Gallo, eh?
I don't like it too much for either team, although the Raptors could play a fast euro style lineup every now and then with Calderon at the point, Lowry/Fields at the 2, Ross at the 3, Gallo at the 4, and Bargs at the 5. That's interesting fo sho. _________________

I think that's a bad for Denver. I like Gallo and he's projectable. A hybrid forward that can score. He can play the 4 next to McGee and the 3 if Faried is in there... I doubt BC could pull off this deal. _________________

I'm still not sure why we are discussing a rumored trade that still hasn't had a link to support it. _________________

Eh, at this point, as long as it's not taking up a thread all by itself I think it's fine to speculate the possibilities of such a trade even without any credible sources. _________________

Spencer Hawes will probably be available at the trade deadline. _________________

What would have been the Suns equivalent for the deal OKC got for James Harden?
I can't help but think they should have done anything and everything to try and acquire the former ASU Sun Devil. He would have been perfect for Phoenix.
Kendall Marshall
Markieff Morris
Jared Dudley
2014 1st round pick?
Dragic
Harden
Beasley
Scola
Gortat
would have been so awesome. _________________

Was looking at some mock drafts
They have us taking Miles brother next year at 26.
That is one freaky tall athletic family. _________________

Highly doubt that would have been anywhere close to enough. And the biggest thing Houston had to offer a Thunder team that is at the peak of contention, currently, was a way to minimize the loss of Harden without altering their rotations too significantly, both now and for the foreseeable future, i.e. the acquisitions of two shooting guards in Martin (the vet, for the here and now) and Lamb (for the future).
Aside from maybe trading Gortat and taking on Perkins contract, I don't see how anything the Suns could have offered would have come close to the package deal from Houston. _________________

Rockets are going to try to do another trade for a 4 or a 3. Just have a feeling. They're going to try to unload their stockpile of 4s for something. _________________

That's nowhere close to good enough. Even if they throw in an unprotected 2013 1st it still falls short to the Houston package. OKC would have no use for Marshall either. |

Scola fits the Thunder well, as does cash and any other picks. They might have been interested in Shannon Brown, but the Rockets gave them a good deal fo sho. I think the Suns could have given them a better one if they had parted with one of their two big men, but that didn't happen, and I guess they missed out.
Presti knew who to call right away in order to get a good deal done. _________________

Meh, ionno about that. He could definitely help them set up in the half court, but Marshall definitely needs big men to feed into the post. That's another reason why the Suns would have to throw in either their starting 4 or 5. _________________

Not to mention none of those players would even start on the Thunder now or in the future. _________________
