Nah. As long as he has a minimal role, I like the signing. He is a good mentor for our younger guys.

Agreed with Adam, but I don't really want Mike as more than the 5th LBer really, and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with Adkins as the 1st replacement if any of the starters go down.
I think I would have preferred us to sign a clear starting calibre player (like EJ Henderson) to be the 4th guy, then have Adkins as the 5th guy.
Being only one hamstring pull from Peterson/Adkins starting and playing 2 downs for 2-3 weeks is worrying IMO. |
