Chaz, Kerley, Holmes, and Sapp are some notables that are out tonight.
If someone else shines tonight I think Kerley should be a casualty. Hes nowhere near as good as most think. Hes small and not very fast. We dont need him for the Wildcat either.
Unfortunately for Sapp I see him getting cut as well. You cant miss 2 preseason games when your fighting for a roster spot. I had very high hopes for this guy and heard positive things from camp, but i feel like its unlikely we keep him around unless Rex REALLY believes in him. _________________

| Hill and Patrick Turner I suppose that makes our starting receivers tonight. Let's get excited. |

I'm interested in seeing how all the rookies look tonight. This can give Royce Pollard a shot at making the team. _________________

He beat Revis for a 30 yard catch this week IIRC. _________________

I'm not really shocked. After seeing his highlight tape from Hawaii last season , he has high potential. I really think he can become great player. With half of our WRs being out, I hope he takes this opportunity and become our "Victor Cruz" _________________

This is exactly why I want us to cut Kerley.
Hes not overly fast, hes not big, hes not physical, he doesn't have "getting away from the cops speed" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHofAqyja_s and hes no longer used in the wildcat. cut him.
I want to see Riley, White, or Pollard have a legit chance to make this team.
We dont have much experience but theres certainly talent there. _________________

I wouldn't mind trading him with another pick for a olineman or another pick. But I want to see if our WR's can look good without Kerley tonight , if not, then we have to keep him unless theres a FA out there we can use. _________________

From what I saw from Kerley last year, he will be perfect in the slot for us. The only problem is that he has been injured so far this preseason. I hope he is able to get on the field soon though, we need him. _________________

I disagree. The perfect guy in the slot for us really is Santonio Holmes when we go to a 3 receiver set. Hill on the outside, and probably Chaz Schilens on the other. I just dont see what is special about Kerley. Hes very small and yet no where near as fast as he should be for his size. He runs solid routes but its not as if they stand out, the guy is a 5th WR at best in this league and we have him slotted to be a slot receiver, talk about a weak offense. I still stand by my earlier comments that Kerley should be cut for a younger guy whose got more physical talent and upside. _________________

BTW, Ricky Sapp reported out for Sunday with an ankle sprain. It sucks because he does have talent and has been good in practices, but hes most certainly going to be cut if he can't get into a game this preseason. _________________
