#35 pick 2 years ago? I know nothing about this guy, but I like this trade so long as "late round pick" means 6th or 7th
edit: wikipedia was wrong, thought he was 11th |

He was in an altercation with Mark Barron. He also has injury problems and hasn't performed up to his once "potential". _________________

Price was the 35th overall pick in 2010...the reason the Bucs are willing to give him up for so little is he has problems with his knees...but when he is healthy he is a load...in a scheme like ours where we rotate alot his knees shouldn't be under so much stress...hopefully a fresh start will give his career a kickstart. |

so now we have two players who have beaten Mark Barron. He and Alshon should get along just fine |

He doesn't have knee issues, his main concern is with his hamstring and pelvis. He has his hamstring surgically connected to his pelvic bone which is, from what I remember, the first surgery of this kind in the NFL. It's not really known if he can or will stay healthy.
He did start most games last year, but we also had a historically bad defense last year, so take that for what it's worth.
His sister also recently died in an accident and although that's not football related, it's been reported that he's taking it very hard.
He's a good guy though, and I'd like to see him succeed. He deserves to. _________________

| I just remembered when Price blow out his knee…it was the Wembley game…he chased down Matt Forte for a tackle then tried to celebrate and blow out his knee. |

He wasn't injured during that game, and he started the games after our game in London, so he certainly didn't blow out his knee. _________________

Like the move. Should we read into what this may say about Paea? Or Melton's future as a Bear beyond 2012? Probably too early for that I guess. _________________

I have been screaming DT depth since the draft, haha, in the post draft threads my biggest disappointment was I wanted a DT in the Rodriguez spot.
Needless to say I love the trade. Seriously, we only had 3 bodies at DT, I dont get why everyone was so comfortable. _________________
