Sammy, I am willing to bet you just made a certain poster to remain unnamed pretty upset with your pick of Tannehill! Actually, I was seriously considering grabbing him with one of my choices in this round.
Solid pick in Tannehill and I can't really fault the pick of Taylor, although I will say I think there are still some solid safeties still out there for the taking that have some NFL experience. At any rate, Taylor is a solid developmental safety and special teamer. |

That's it, one pick in and I quit. _________________

My bad Bigs, I wasn't sure if you had two QB'S yet. He just fit too perfectly behind Rodgers.
Nic Yeah Taylor wasn't my top rated Safety, but he's my 4th safety and will mainly get cleanup duty and be my ST captain. _________________

I figured that was your plan for him, and I think he is a very good fit in that scenario - very good special teamer and he will likely be able to make an impact on special teams from day 1 for you. |

LOL, bigs, I knew you would be torqued when you saw that pick right out of the gate! If this is any solace, he probably wouldn't have made it past me IF he was still on the board at my pick.
I was actually surprised you didn't pick him with your last pick. I almost grabbed him with mine, but figured I should get my #2 tight end before the 53 man draft.
Since Tannehill is gone, you might as well fire Mike Sherman right now.

Samsel...you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Not for taking Tannehill but for comparing him to Rogers. The only thing they have in common is mobility. But I digress. _________________

Just messin with you Sammy. I'm not sure I would have taken Tannehill, or any QB at this point yet anyway. _________________

DT, I don't think Sammy was comparing Tannehill to Rodgers at all. He was just saying he was a perfect fit behind Rodgers, and in that I would agree. Rodgers is a known quantity right now and for the foreseeable future. Tannehill is admittedly raw and will need some time to develop and behind Rodgers he will have that opportunity. |

Precisely, It is the perfect senario for Tannehill. That and they both.fit the West Coast offense. I wouldn't have to.change up TOO much if something were too happen to.Rodgers. Who knows I may not even be done at QB yet. _________________

By this time next week, I think you'll see I was not lying. I did have to course correct a little after Tebow was taken, but Tannehill being taken wasn't a major blow. _________________

Max Unger will be my immediate interior swing guard/center and projected present competition/future replacement for Nick Hardwick.
Chris Culliver is a player I really like because of his athleticism and versatility. He has experience both at the college and NFL level at cornerback and free safety. In my defense he will play primarily free safety as the backup and eventual replacement for Danieal Manning. I like the range he brings to the back end of my secondary while also having the positional flexibility to drop down and play man coverage at times. He also has the versatility of being a good special teamer/returner. |

Ugh, I was so going to pick Unger here. He was actually my second choice for my starting center after Chris Myers. It's insane he's still available this late. He's one of the best 6-8 centers in the game IMO.
And yes, I guess I can always have Cassel as my back-up QB. I guess I need to change my sig. And my grand proclamation I made about how it all would make sense soon to nic lasted all of like 3 hours, as Stanzi was my back-up plan. I should have known better. _________________
