I hate Wisconsin and I hate Montee Ball, that being said this is absolutely stupid. You are attacking a guy who just wants to be a student-athlete for no reason. This is so stupid that 5 morons would do this just for sh*ts and giggles that this has to happen.
I hope they catch these guys their punishments should be to have them each locked up individually with Montee Ball for 10 minutes and let him do his worst to them.

FWIW, Ball was also targeted for trespassing at a party on Mifflin. Technically, he didn't know the people in the house, but there were 100 or so people there and no one knew the people in the house.
His Heisman potential has made him a celebrity, and I guess Wisconsin people don't know how to handle that.

Unfortunately, this is only news because of who he is for the football program, but this kind of trash happens on campuses across the world.

WOW, I really hope Ball will be okay. I cant believe he got a concussion while doing nothing wrong or on the field. Thats someone's livelihood at stake

If you're being serious he was probably out doing the same thing other people of age are out doing. Bar close in Wisconsin is 2AM so my guess is he was closing a bar.

Lord forbid Montee be a 21 year old in college... |
I understand that he is a college student, but being out that late is when trouble happens. I just think he needs to be more careful than a normal student. He is recognizable and there are bad people out there especially that late.

Madison is a fun college town. Montee was probably just getting his partying in before practice starts up (y'all haven't started yet right?)

Nothing good ever happens after 2a.m. (How I Met Your Mother joke)
And just because he understands that good things don't happen at said time doesn't mean he doesn't know how to have fun/didn't have fun in college. 
In all honesty, this is really just bad luck for Ball. It could've been ANY college player ANYWHERE. It just happened to be him.
...... yet the evil side of me that is jealous of Wisconsin's recent success likes to think it's Montee's (or should I say Montay?) pompous attitude that did this in.

Yeah, we don't start practice until Monday. Players report Sunday afternoon/night.
Montee said he's okay. Might have a slight concussion and has some facial lacerations IIRC.

He was refuting the TMZ report that there was a fight a week previous to that and this attack was retaliation for that.
