I'm pretty sure Pre-season is a lot cheaper. It might even be like half of regular season prices depending where you buy them. _________________ (MLB)=A's, (NFL)=Raiders, (NBA)= Warriors

I hope so. If Im shelling out $150+ for the SD game, I dont want to spend the money on 2 tickets for a preseason game. At the same time, I dont wanna miss out on seeing them play since its not very often that I get to. _________________

You should go anyway...The extra ticket for your son is to get him hooked early. Its a tradition. I fly from Hawaii every year to catch atleast one home game. I would do anything to take my son to a game. _________________ Reppin Silver and Black from the Hawaiian Islands!

I asked a dude from work who has Cardinals season tix and he told me they are the same price, but from what I'm hearing I dont think so. Either he doesnt know or he is hoping to make money off the tickets. _________________

We had an 8-8 season. However, we were 7&4 entering the stretch run and lost 4 of the last 5 if I'm correct. Our coaches lost control of the team.
This year both our offense and defense are better IMO. We have a defensive minded coach and am confident he will improve that side of the ball. Our receivers are better, we are going to a ZBS which will benefit our running game and our Oline should be improved.
I see nothing but good things for us this year. With what we had and some improvement we should exceed last years record. |
i think we all are in agreement this team will be better then last years team. i am just not sure the record will show that this is a better team. The upcoming schedule looks to be very tough. good thing is it looks as though this team is building and looking to be good for the future and no longer just trying to put together year by year |
To carry this a bit further, do you remember how really bad our defensive coordinator was. I've blocked his name from my memory or at least what I have left.
I guarantee our D coordinator is better this year and to top that off we have a defensive minded HC.
I just saw Caserly on NFL Network. He called Palmer a top ten QB. I wanna quit saying remember but he had no camp last year and even said the early season was a blur. They went 7&4. Our weak link could be RB as DMC must stay healthy as long as possible. |

I'm excited about our defense, honestly. I am not expecting numerous Pro-Bowlers or for a bunch of our guys to look like stars, but what I see happening are this:
1) Reduction in penalties
-- this alone would yield a noticeable improvement. Drives would stop getting extended, and free yards would no longer be given away at an alarmingly high rate.
2) Players in better position to make plays
-- I know all the blame can't be laid on the old scheme, but there is no doubt that an updated, creative scheme programed by a defensive-minded HC will put our players' talents to better use.
3) Steady, if unspectacular defensive play
-- Tarver was part of a Stanford D that was never really outstanding, but they ranked 11th in the nation in sacks in each of the last 2 years, and from the games I watched they played solid, disciplined defense for the most part.
All I want is a disciplined defense that can get after the QB, stop the run, and limit penalties. We dont need to lead the NFL in any categories, dont need to allow 14 PPG, dont need a defense full of All-Pros, just a D that doesnt give games away. _________________

Zoom mentioned possibly the single most important thing that can make a huge difference in our performance. Reducing penalties. Especially on the Oline. We have given away many a game due to the lack of discipline. It's so important to get a handle on this. 50 yards less in penalties can win a close game. Amen. |
