Jeff McLane reported on Twitter aswell..
Via rotoworld: Quote: | There are no additional details at this time as to what exactly happened, but it explains why the team's coach was absent from this morning's walkthrough. Garrett Reid has a history of drug issues, starting with a January, 2007 arrest for crashing his car while high on heroin. It's safe to assume Reid will be away from the team for a while and no word yet if he'll be in attendance for the team's first preseason game on Thursday. |
Horrible news, and my heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Andy Reid and his family right now. _________________

This team was motivated to win to keep Andy, now they'll all be trying to win one for Garrett. R.I.P to the kid and I hope this team does him proud. _________________

Condolences to the Reid's for their tragic loss.
Thinking of this from a football perspective, does Reid understandably take the year to be with his family? I'd understand regardless his decision. |

Condolences to the Reid family. I can't even imagine what the Reid family is going through.
If I was in Andy's shoes I would take some time off. Not a whole year. Maybe all of next week. Life is bigger than football. But it might be best for Andy to resume a somewhat normal routine as soon as possible. Perhaps coaching football would be a distraction. _________________
