Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed. I thought he was going to be used a lot on our d-line. Hopefully Crawford or Bilikudi step up! _________________ If the Raiders don't trade back at 3, I want Fisher, Ziggy, or Star. |

Good, Allen won't take any of that lazy crap anymore. If people are going to slack and cut corners then they're going to be shown the door. Love it. _________________

I didn't have extremely high expectations from him, but at the same time, the fact that he filled a NEED and had a GREAT opportunity to be able to make something out of his career is disappointing to say the least. Especially since it was a conditioning issue.
Next man up. _________________

I wish the Raiders would trade for AZ NT Dan Williams. Hopefully, HC Allen isn't the fitness nut that Whisenhunt is. Sometimes you have to let guys that struggle to lose weight play themselves into shape a la Bryant McKinnie. You can't just throw out the baby with the bath water.
Dan Williams will always struggle with his weight imo, but his girth is part of his game ( see Ted washington). Whisenhunt prefers the scrappy undersized NT out of UCLA, David Carter. I loved both Gabe Watson and Alan Branch in FA last season. One has become a star the other was cut, however I believe Williams is worth the risk for a late round pick, as I've heard his elbow is 80%.
I look forward to watching him tonight. _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |

I am betting it is similar to the Murphy situation with Criner and Streater. Dominique Hamilton and Bilukidi must be showing something making Ivey obsolete. My theory, no basis in fact though. |

LOVED Dan Williams coming out of Tennessee. I would ship over a mid round pick without hesitation. Have you heard anything about them possibly wanting to unload him or are you just connecting the dots? _________________

How fat do you have to be to be too out of shape for nose tackle?

You can't handle the truth. Don't see any other NT's to fall back on. The staff apparently loved him before the draft and had plans for Ivey. _________________

I highly doubt the staff had their hopes pinned on a guy who was on Cleveland's PS most of the year to man the NT position. _________________
