Ta'amu isn't some surefire stud. If that were the case, he wouldn't have fallen to the 4th round. All of you acting like the Raiders passed on him because of Ivey are jokers. Neither are good NT prospects. The Raiders let Ivey go within a few days of him not being able to practice. Obviously they didn't think very highly of his long term potential, or else they would have waited it out.

Ta'amu had nagging injuries at the combine which hurt his stock brcause the guy moves really well when healthy. What makes you think he's not a goid NT prospect? Because he fell to the 4th? The guy has things to work on like every other draft pick.

Exactly. Allen said as much at his last presser. We have the most trouble in open space. Which he said falls on the LB's and DB's. We dont do poorly because teams gain 2-3 yards at a time on us. Its because we stop them pretty well and then let the big ones go all the time.

Did he? I thought it was because Kelly is trash.

oakdb has been a TK supporter for years, while I am considered to be a TK hater which is untrue. I think TK would be an excellent 34 DE but he's not a NT, he's overpaid, and commits too many penalties but that's the extent of my criticisms.

I dont think Bilukidi will make a major impact this year, but i see a TON of potential when i watch him in Camp. He has a great pad level, uses his hands to hold his position on the LOS well, and is great at getting after the RB when he can shed the blocker. As a pass rusher hes got an explosive first step but if he gets stuck he has no secondary moves that he can consistency use. And thats what i see he needs to work on the most, shedding blockers, but its just a lack of hand skills that can be taught. I see him being a force in the run game in the future.

He has made Wiz look silly a few times in 1 on 1 drills.

Welcome back! I have missed your insights. Are you normally at training camp? How has the organization changed? How is it workign for MCK?

Glad to be back. This is my first training camp with the team, but i have been before.

I am in napa but I'm not on the field. But it's all recorded and I watch it all.

I work along side Reggie and the Scouting Dept pretty much daily and he sees things i never notice his knowledge of the game blows me away.

Never worked under Al so i dont really know the old way.

I think this is the new regime sending a message that if your not willing to put in the effort to help this team win, your out of here...this is the type of discipline this team this team has lacked for years....Go Raiders!
