The Goals and Objectives for tonights game:

1. Look like a credible offense and defense exits
2. Avoid a second 31-3 outcome
3. ummmm

What I am looking for from the Bears this game,

1. Can J Webb nation please stand up and do something positive. The LT position needs to show something tonight and I don't care if it is James Brown who does it.

2. The Big 3 of Cutler, Forte and Marshall. This will be our first glimpse of what they look like together and what our offense may look like. Mix in some Alshon in the first group and I am excited.

3. Defensive line needs to improve and the guys inside need to show something against the run. I also want to see the young edge guys continue to do good things.

Cutler said the fans will probably be disappointed due to the bland offense they'll be running. If we don't look that great on offense I'm not worried about it. My guess is that Tice is running plays looking specifically at the o-line the entire game. We know Cutler, Forte, and Marshall are all All-Pro guys, just need to figure out the best group of guys to put in front of them so they can succeed.

Edit - I'd also like to see Shea get the majority of the defensive snaps in the first half. If he can rack up at least 1 more sack while doing a decent job pressuring the QB i'm going to forget my initial thought on this guy. If he pans out like we hope our d-line is going to be damn good.

I just read that Rex's father and grandfather were both named Rex. Therefore:

Redskins #1 QB initials = RGIII
Redskins #2 QB initials = RGIII
Bears #1 QB initials = JC
Bears #2 QB initials = JC

Weird.

me too...I hope it plays out closely to that...I think that's what we all need to see. And the players need to see it too.

Isn't Rex Grossman just RG? Where'd you get the III?
