The funny thing is they set up a win win situation. First they say RGIII for instance will do better than Luck as a rookie. So they lowered the bar. So if RGIII had a better season it wouldn't mean anything. But if he doesn't or if he doesn't even have a better game, that's PROOF that Luck >>>>> RGIII |

Im talking about WINNING GAMES.
This fluky offense isnt a productive way to win football games. It puts up numbers, but it doesnt translate to wins.
Christian Ponder, Andy Dalton. QBs in TRADITIONAL offenses. Are outperforming Cam. Why? Cause they are doing what it takes to succeed in the NFL. Cam is still playing college ball. Redskins better cool it with RG3 if he wants his career to last. |

So, it really seems to me you are blaming our lack of success more on our offensive coordinator than you are Newton.
Either way, are you implying our offense last year would have somehow not generate as much, or more, wins had they had the Bengals defense? Because Newton out performed Dalton in every way.
And Redskins are what, 3-2, 2-3? I think it is safe to say their offense certainly isn't holding them because considering they've been competitive in every game this year.

Not even that, but Cam is different than those guys. It's apples and oranges. Vick and Griffin are built much, much differently than Newton. If I were to compare Cam to any running QB, it might be Tebow. But he's already a lot better than him. Cam has the size and build that Vick and RG3 don't. That argument was plain dumb.
And not only that, but let's say that hypothetically he is comparable to RGIII and Vick in that way. We'll go into the the next comment; 'winning games'. Did Vick not win a lot of games in Atlanta and even 2 years ago in Philly? He can't help Reid calling less and less runs or when the defense lets him down. Nor could he help the lack of talented WR's in Atlanta.
And how is it proven that Griffin doesn't win games? Gtfoh with that. He owned New Orleans and marched down the field to win against TB. And even in the games he's lost, he's had solid numbers. Especially for a rookie. How one can even come to a conclusion that he does or doesn't win games at this point is mind blowing.
Oh, and Luck's record is 2-2. Does that mean he doesn't win games? Jeez. And I like Luck more than both Cam or RG3. But that argument was garbage.

| I'd take Luck over any QB drafted in the last 5+ years. I thought that before he was drafted, and never stopped thinking that. |
