Hasn't proved what Rodgers has. I'd take Brees and Brady for the short term excellence. Eli and Ben (ugh) also have a lot of high level football left. Rivers is a close call. Matt Ryan is also a close call, but I want to see how he sustains this tear he is on, (though I'm not really worried about the lack of postseason success like other people are).
..And yes, I'd take him over Flacco... |

Again...this was something I called in preseason
Now I felt it was bit fair. Because Cam came what was at the time the GOAT rookie season by a QB ever. Andrew Luck was the most hyped QB since Elway.
Not an easy pick by any means.
Congrats to Andrew Luck for now being on his way to the greatest rookie season ever. |

let me see how he does after the sophmore slump.
Also, he'll hit a Rookie wall. RG is just starting to come
back to earth. I love me some Luck, Hard not to root for the
colts. Luck has been playing amazing, Like others have said. He's
been playing top 7 this year. Just amazing! truly amazing. _________________

A lot of all of this has to do with how many people don't like Cam Newton and thought he would be a bust
That's why after 4-5 games people say RGIII is already better than Cam even though Cam's rookie season was more impressive
And still Cam Newton's rookie season is more impressive than the pace of Andrew Luck right now
Andrew Luck has a whopping 13 total TDs and 11 total TOs right now
ALthough that's slightly better than Cam's sophmore slump year, it's not even close to Cam's rookie season where Cam was a top 4 QB production wise in the NFC last year.
People are overrating Andrew Luck based on team performance.
And it's not like most of the teams that Colts have beaten have been exactly juggernauts outside of that emotional win over the Packers |

When it's all said and done, I think Luck's rookie campaign will be better than Cam's although the numbers won't show it. People love numbers and aren't realizing that Luck has taken a 2-14 team that went through a massive overhaul in coaching, the front office, and players, and he's making them look like they'll be a force in a few years. Cam just threw a ton of 50/50 balls and his guys came down w/ them.
While I agree people are overrating Luck, it's not nearly the extent people were overrating Cam. _________________

Cam was also 2-6 on a team that was probably better talent wise. _________________

Seriously, I wish Cam would make perfect decision like Luck does. Like this one for example.
http://www.nfl.com/videos/indianapolis-colts/0ap2000000089772/T-Y-Hilton-TD-catch
Even though this pass was 67-33 in favor of the Dolphins, it was a great decision because it was Andrew Luck instead of Cam Newton.
We get it, you don't watch football. _________________

I really don't have a problem putting Luck over Cam, but RG3 is a big no no. _________________
