Andy is the man! I do disagree on the high thing, but it was a good trade in hindsight. _________________

Obviously the injury to his thumb during the Steelers game could have happened to any QB (I suppose the same argument could be made for the rib injury as well), but I had unprecedented confidence in this team before Vick took that shot. Maybe it's just reality settling in. Does anyone think these injuries are just coincidences? Has a full offseason really improved Vick's poise in our offense, or are we just going to go into every game thinking, "man, I hope Vick leaves this one alive?" That's not the kind of thing I want to be thinking in the back of my mind when I have so much confidence in this roster's potential to win football games. |
The best solution would be for him to be smarter, no reason to keep a play alive in the 2nd preseason game. Throw the ball away or pull a favre live on to play another play. If Doug Pederson and co can't get that threw his head we should expect to have that way of thinking "will he make it out alive?" I'm sure we'll see adjustments leaving TEs and RBs in to block etc but guys still will get beat we aren't going to screens 3step drops all game so I'm expecting a shortened season. Maybe on PA he and the RB needs to sell it more...the DL wasn't looking run on that particular play so idk. _________________

I think it has to do more with we were actively shopping him around this offseason. He didn't have a bad yr last yr. If we wouldn't have been hesitant to pull the trigger early last yr who knows? _________________

1 feather become a chicken?
I believe it was suppose to be a day 2 draft pick, 2nd or 3rd round. But not 2 2nd's. _________________

If Hanson loses out on the slot corner job, do you guys think he'll still make the team?
I do not. _________________

| Hanson will make the team. Marsh, Hughes, and the rest of the guys aren't earning a roster spot over him. |

That would still be more then what we did get from Atlanta. So hindsight would say trading him to the Lions would've been the correct move, not moving him for a 7th to Atlanta.
...and weren't we supposed to get Corey Williams back in that deal as well? What a improvement that would've been. _________________

Agreed - I'd say Nnamdi, DRC, Hanson, Marsh, and Boykin are all locks, the rest is up in the air. _________________
