I understand they both play different positions, but who do you think is the bigger loss to their respective teams?
Sugg's replacements are a rotation of Paul Kruger, Albert McClellan, and Courtney Upshaw.
Peter's replacements are a rotation of King Dunlap and Demetress Bell. _________________

I think Peters is more important. Without Peters the Eagles OL is pretty much bad. Suggs off the ravens D is still a good defense _________________

the ravens D has played mediocre this year, they arent the same without T-sizzle. Also that Eagles O-line wasnt really good to begin with and hes not protecting mike vick's blindside.
so i would say T-sizzle. _________________

Pass Rush > Proctection. Atleast you can help with TE/RB's, but if you have to blitz all day to get pressure you can be in problems. _________________

Jason Peters without a doubt. Michael Vick gets blasted every week. LT is one of the most important positions in football.

It isn't Vick's blindside. Not saying that makes him unimportant, but still. |

You do know that michael vick's left side isnt his blindside. In general youre right regarding the importance of the LT but its not applicable to vick. _________________

Peter's was still the best LT in the game in his prime. He would have made an absolute difference. The Raven's are still a formidable defense. Plus they have the "it's the Ravens defense " factor. Similar to the Steelers, it's a next man up mentality.

Peters, because his replacements are worse. Turned a pretty good OL into a pretty bad one.

Suggs is a much better player, but the Ravens can replace him easier than the Eagles can replace Peters. _________________

Anyone voting Suggs clearly hasn't seen the state of the Eagles offensive line.

I couldn't vote Suggs. I have felt bad for Vick the entire season.

I think that at this point the Eagles would be happy with mediocre OL play _________________

It's tough to say whether the drop off in our defense is due to Terrell or the new system, but either way, our defense has looked pretty meh so far this year, particularly our pass offense. A lot of that has to do with the lack of a pass rush, but it also has to do with our press corners playing off coverage. So, it's tough to say.
I went Peters for the sake of this poll. _________________
