In pretty big shock over a few cuts, especially among the D-line, but for the most part what we all expected.
Don't know if anyone saw the Underwood cut coming, though. _________________

Kinda sad that Tiquan got released. He seems to be a stand up guy and definitely would have made this roster had we not picked up Shipley. We just had too many perimeter guys and I understand it. Kinda wished we released Parker or Stroughter and kept Tiquan.
Players get released for a reason but I seriously think we should look at Brandon Washington. The only reason he got released was because Howard Mudd likes fit and nimble OL men. Washington has potential to be very good in a run first offense here in Tampa.
Some of the cuts around the league make me lick my chops and think we might get some good players. Really hoping we do.
Our DL cuts are making me scratch my head like many other people. I think we have to be making a trade for someone or have this brilliant idea of how to make the few we have work or steal someone off the market that shouldnt be there. The next few days should be interesting. _________________

I was/am a big supporter of Freeman. His lack of progression going into his 4th year is concerning. It's not hate. His play speaks for itself. |

The season hasn't started
You keep trying to prove you are right, he's had one great year and a rocky one. Lets give him some time. Look at Big Ben and Eli's sophomore/junior seasons. |

I loved Sammie Stroughter a few years ago, but Tiquan Underwood should have his spot... That's crazy we released him. Like I have said in earlier post's I have faith in are coaching staff and front office. So they must know something we don't know....
Lets just hope for the best! _________________ Adopt a Buc:

I find this baffling that they cut players who looked like they were playing very well and had strong upside, such as DE E. J Wilson, S Sean Baker, WR Tiquan Underwood and WR Jordan Shipley. But, who did they keep, WR Sammie Stroughter, CB Brandon McDonald and CB Myron Lewis, how does that make any sense? |

I am bummed out over Underwood and don't understand Wilson, Shipley or Baker.
Makes me wonder what a couple of the lousy players who were kept have on the FO. |

Baker, Underwood, Shipley, and Wilson will probably be on the practice squad. |

It's retarded. Classic mark d

I know that Baker is eligable to be placed on the practice squad, but I don't think that the others are, based on their previous NFL play, (not sure about Underwood though). |

Tiquan Underwood was cut by Bill Belichick like three times in his career, but yet he is viewed as some valuable commodity in Tampa. I'm suprised Underwood was cut, but I'm not overly concerned about it . For as much as I'm not impressed by Parker, the simple fact is he has already done more in the NFL during the regular season then Underwood. There is a reason the head coaches of the NFL don't believe Underwood can contribute on Sundays. |
