Weird that we're letting Underwood and Shipley go and still trying out WRs...
This is the Tyms guy we're trying out, can't imagine he'd have more upside than either of the two WRs we just cut...
| Quote: | | Bryan Tyms, is a 6-3 redshirt senior from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He saw action in 11 games as he tallied seven receptions for 123 yards, averaging 7.8 yards per catch with one TD. Tyms recorded two receptions for 55 yards with a TD, a season high, against Delaware State (9-11-10). |

Underwood looked great in preseason, so we cut him and try out this Tyms bum. Great... _________________

Underwood was not going to put us over the top or anything. He didn't do squat against tenn and ne. If he stuck he would of been 5th wr.
He couldn't even stick in Jacksonville last year which had te worst wr squad in the league. Stroughter makes this squad because he's been a solid 4 wr and special tEams contributor. That's what it came down too.
If anything we should be disappointed there is ONLY 3 DT on this squad. Talk about thin and weak. |

Still might of screwed up with the pick regardless. |
You're getting out of hand with the Freeman hate. |
I was/am a big supporter of Freeman. His lack of progression going into his 4th year is concerning. It's not hate. His play speaks for itself. |
Yes, the lack of progression in his 4th year that hasn't started is very concerning.
This is all a solid 6 weeks too early, and that's being generous. _________________

Never said he was going to put us over the top, but why would we cut someone who at least made an impact in preseason and then try out some random bum at the same position? _________________

Making an impact against 3rd stringers is one thing but he never did it on te field when it counted. Stroughter and Parker have. Plus Stroughter has been very good on special teams. |

As a tb bucs fan I want freeman to be the guy. Missing on a 1st round qb sets a team back.
But as a realist and honest opinion, how much more time can u give him ? That was something u say about a rookie a d here he is in year 4 and we're still saying it. If he doesn't get it by te end of this year it's time to look for a new guy. And from what I've seen so far isn't a very good start. |

The whole idea of this being Freeman's prove it year is not really the debate. The debate is that you're saying it's been a bad start, and most of the rest of us are saying it hasn't even started yet... and if you're going this hard at it after 4 preseason games, you'll likely be carving Freeman's tombstone before any decent part of the season has passed. _________________

I see Adam Weber has signed with your PS. He impressed me with limited playing time in Denver with our 3rd team. Adam is smart with the ball and whilst he is limited physically, he has zip on short-intermediate routes in the middle of the field.
I think with a bit more work, he could develop into a good NFL backup QB. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

It's retarded. Classic mark d |
Yes, classic Mark D silliness, making decisions to make the team better as a guy who has seen them practice and surely has reports from coaches, tape from practice and games, interviews, etc.
I bet we know better than him! _________________
