And between a handful of Steelers fans no less..
I really hope Baltimore doesn't give him "elite" money, regardless of whether or not the FO regards him as such. I think he'll always be in that 7-10 range, but perfectly capable of carrying a team/making the throws when he has a pocket; which was a big issue in the regular season for us. Bryant McKinnie has stepped up big-time in the postseason, and not having Michael Oher at LT helps quite a bit. _________________

That is best for the team and him. Good thing with Ozzie is that he's great with contracts since he's been GM. Flacco won't get that elite money but it will still be quality. Flacco for me is in that 6-10 range as well. He's been the best player on both sides of the team. _________________

'Overpaid' is such a relative term when it comes to the quarterback market, and whatever contract Flacco signs that makes people freak out will look obsolete within a year or two when the next round of quarterback contract extensions comes through. Especially given how he's looked with Caldwell at the helm, I'm comfortable and quite happy with Flacco as our long-term quarterback. Good guy, never overmatched, and comfortably in the 6-12 range with the ceiling to move up higher.
I'm more worried about what we do with the left tackle position next year. It'll be interesting to see whether there's enough trust between the organization and McKinnie and whether they can get him to buy into a training/offseason regimen that has him prepared for an entire season, or whether they don't re-sign him and try to fill that void through the draft. After these playoffs, it's hard to imagine they'll revert back to the Oher-at-LT quagmire. Ozzie and Co. are some of the best in the biz, so I'm going to trust they'll work things out to the best of their capabilities.
Pretty exciting to see the Ravens in the Super Bowl. Solid distraction from Arsenal at a time when I'm reaching some of my greatest frustration with the club. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.”

Joe Flacco is Eli Manning-esque, he'll go derp derp at least twice a season, but wins games _________________ Officially endorsed by Jon Dorenbos

Best Idea for Baltimore, get McKinnie to buy in this season, draft Matthews next year? _________________

Flacco's starting to swag out. Must realize that he can't just keep wearing sweatsuits everywhere now that he's a household name with some endorsement $$$ to go out and get.
The real test though, does RoxSox approve? _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |

I used to love wearing a pocket square with my suit. Now every pretentious tosser in England where's one on every single night out on the town. Embarrassing. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

Seriously though, I think I talk about Fashion and Football more than the NFL here. _________________

I agree about the shoulders but the tie could be the lighting. Also what is your problem with his black shoes? Black seems like the only suitable (ha puns) color for the suit he is wearing. Is it because they kind of look like sneakers? That could also be the angle/lighting _________________

He's not wearing a suit, he's wearing a sportcoat and pants (colors don't match). Black is boring and formal. There's a time and place for it, but it should be avoided more often than not. A pair of Park Avenue's in bourbon or merlot would look a lot better. _________________

It looks like Joe Flacco is posing in that picture
I wear black sport coats (well a blazer but isn't that the same thing?) all the time. However, it is usually to work... _________________
