Does anyone know why Bowles is going to as much zone as he is?
Honestly, I think DRC comes back next season and Nnamdi gets cut. They will try to be rebuild and get rid of a lot of players (Nnamdi, Vick, Jenkins, ect). _________________

Also, Nnamdi could not see the QB, so when Allen bites, he looks back thinking it was a run as well. You could have any CB in the history out there, but they weren't going to be able to make a play on that play. You let a WR run free to the middle of the field and you are looking the other way? Good luck with that........................... |
Jay it was today's (Wed 22nd 4pm) NFL Live episode. He was breaking it down in comparison to what RGIII probably won't see tomorrow at Dallas. I am on my phone and do not have the link. _________________

I think the zone is a function of the wide-9 up front and the inability of the tackles to collapse the pocket.
The CB's just can't turn their backs to the play.
Once the wide-9 is gone the Eagles can play a more traditional set.
I believe this is a big reason to give Todd Bowles some slack. |

Thanks, so what did DRC did wrong on that play? Wouldn't he have outside responsibility as well?
That is true, the wide-9 has been the reason for a lot of the failures on defense. _________________

PFF changed his metrics to
Targets 3
Completions 3
Yards 26
Not sure where they got the 21 yard reception from, but better than them including the 39 yard TD . _________________

Glad they realized it wasn't on him, but I'm sure the rest of the football watching world still thinks it was. _________________

Funny thing is, the SAME exact thing happened with the Cowboys yesterday thinking Carr got burned when it was on the safety. And who was the WR? Aldrick Robinson . _________________

I saw VERY little of the game but saw Nnamdi give up a six yard reception. Anything else? _________________

There was a deep out ran by Steve Smith in the 2nd half, but Nnamdi shaded to the middle of the field and Coleman or Allen cut underneath Smith as the pass was caught. I would say only one catch IMO. _________________

Nice, PFF had him also give up a 12 yard reception to Olsen as well as an 19 yard reception to Lafell. However, the latter sounds like a screen play if it was a pass short and went for that many yards. _________________
