Silly trade if you ask me. Salas looked like he had shaky hands in the couple games of St. Louis' that I saw.
Maybe Belicheck noticed something in him. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Very nice trade for both teams, especially the Patriots. Salas will dominate the middle of the field when Welker is gone.
Just a shame the Rams couldn't find a spot for him. Amendola and Steve Smith made him expandable. Can't go into the year with 7 WR's on the roster. _________________

Didn't they need a receiver with only 3 + Hernandez on the team? _________________

It came down to Salas vs Pettis and Pettis won. Salas was deep down the list behind Amendola, Quick, Pettis, Smith, Givens and Gibson. Plus the Rams could use one of their two 1st rounders in 2013 on a #1 WR. |

| Salas was 3rd string slot WR on one of the worst teams in modern history. That's not going to get you very far. |

Considering he went to the Patriots, it was a really good move I think he's going to be great with them. _________________

I think it's goofy looking to trade for a WR right now when all these guys are hitting the waiver wires but... they must of had their eyes on him for awhile to give up a pick, even if it is a future one. Hard to argue/question the Patriots.
It's like Questioning the Spurs in Basketball or Redwings in hockey. |
