I love letting Ice Kareem take all the snaps. Say what you want about his first year but he has really progressed well. _________________

| I love the fact that everybody in our base defense is a sure tackler. |

He has played surprisingly well thus far but I'm still on the fence. _________________

Thats prolly a catch, 41th and goal on the one, lets see if our run defense can step up to the plate here. _________________

Either that, or they are frustrated.
If the Jags lose, the Texans will be the only AFC South team with a win. _________________

So it was written and it has become fact. Vikes 26 - Jags 23
Texans #1 in AFC South (again) |

We'll beat you guys, some day.
Good game and good luck the rest of the way, wouldn't mind seeing the Texans represent the AFC in the Superbowl. |

Best of luck as well. This was probably the first blowout against you guys, most of em were nailbitters. _________________

Postgame thoughts:
- The defense was lights out although our run defense does need improvement. We can't be letting Reggie Bush run between the tackles against us.
- JJ Watt is TOO good, it's unreal. No disrespect to Cushing and JJoe but Watt is our best defensive player and the anchor for this defense.
- Andre is STILL a top 3 wide receiver in the league. Had 1 easy dropped pass but other than that he was typical Dre. Schaub does need to look his way more often though and give him jumpball opportunities. Good things, will happen. (Example: The end of half fade)
- Our offense was good in the 2nd half after a slow start. Schaub missed some throws in the 1st half but he started to carve up that Dolphins secondary in the 2nd.
- Foster wasn't anything special but he wasn't bad either so I guess we could say he was average today. |

That was a great win, BUT we need to improve our run defense AND offense.
I know we only gave up 79 yards rushing, but they got behind quick and basically abandoned the run. Bush was slaughtering us. We need to fix that before we play Jacksonville next week.
Our run offense was not good. Foster had a few big runs but was held in check for the most part and Tate was non-existent. In order to dominate the league we need to be able to run.
Just fix those details and we will be gold.
Also, I bet Gary is regretting keeping Trindon already, he better get his act together or he could be gone. _________________

Something that is worth pointing out regarding our rushing offense.
Miami was ranked 3rd last year against the run in both yards, ypa (3.7), and TDs. They are a top run defense, so in general they are tough to run against. Add in Foster being slightly hobbled by the knee, and this performance is neither surprising or underwhelming.
Our rush defense however letting Bush run like that up the middle is embarassing. That needs to be fixed. _________________
