that's all they did was crash. so why didn't we kill them with PA? i get making DOB comfortable and not giving too much away for BIG play, but c'mon, we could've easily lost that game. i'm looking for big adjustments vs. Oregon State or we will lose. in corvallis, and that is not a bad football team. not gonna be a pushover like last year. |
Oh yeah for sure. They crashed and played 8 or 9 in the box all game. We should have hit them up with the pa or deep bombs more but it is all part of adjustments that need to be made. On the bright side DOB looked really good.

Little off topic, but I am amazed by the large following, or at least activity, of Wisconsin fans on here. I live in the northeast (mom went to Wisconsin, grandpa was a professor there as well), and I go to a high school of about 1,500 students and I'm the only Wisconsin fan I know of. A vast majority are fans of Notre Dame, Florida, and Michigan. Wisconsin I guess just isn't a team that is really recognized on a national level, despite being on that almost elite tier. I see a good amount more Oregon and MSU fans than I do Wisconsin fans as well around here, and both those teams are relatively close to where Wisconsin stands as a program.

We, even our ladies, love sports (especially football and baseball) and support our teams to the fullest. Hell, even when the Bucks put out a halfway decent product, the fans are there supporting them.

And it's a good school with a large alumni that lives all over the country. One of my relatives that went there lives in San Antonio, TX and he's definitely not the only Wisconsin fan there.

Not lived, but I've been there 10+ times since I can remember, plus a few games. Camp Randall was easily the craziest football atmosphere I've ever been in (2nd overall behind Rupp, but the fact that it's indoor probably amplifies the sound a great deal possibly making it seem like a crazier atmosphere). Also I've definitely noticed that there were a ton of female Badger fans the times I've been in Madison, especially the student section looked like it had 2:1 girl to guy ratio haha. I really think that all the major programs have great die hard fanbases, but Wisconsin hasn't exactly seen the same success as teams like Bama or Michigan, so I guess it's pretty impressive that they have such a loyal rabid fan base. I really don't care that Wisconsin isn't popular on a national level, but I don't see why they are not. Incredibly clean, well run program that plays good ol classic football and sees success despite usually not having a big name players or recruits.

Poor kid just can't catch a break. If I were him I'd focus on bulking up a bit because I highly doubt he's going to have that rare explosiveness after 2 ACLs.

Huge addition. 3 out of the top 4 WI prospects are in the fold already, and while Evans wants to wait and see what other offers are out there, UW holds a commanding lead for his services as well.
