I would be pleased with the new updated mock
Johnathan Hankins*, DT, Ohio State fille an immediate #1 need on the D-Line. Hankins could open the 2013 season as starting DT.
Jonathan Cooper, G, North Carolina fills a need for a longterm LG prospect. |
Adding in Round 3:
70. Minnesota Vikings: Da'Rick Rogers WR, Tennessee Tech
Is a very solid pick. Fills a need for deep/tall WR (pairs with Precy small/fast) _________________

Awful Colts pick. I don't know what it was before, but since I said it was good before, change it back. What an awful player and pick. _________________

It was Mingo.
I get you guys have a need at OLB, but if Lotulelei is available and Mingo is off the board...you don't think Pagano (who had Ngata at his disposal) wouldn't consider him at all? _________________

You definitely hit the Jets needs. Don't know much about Ellington though.
I know you don't have trades in your mock, but if the Jets finish with the 10th pick, I have no doubt they will trade up to the 6th pick for Jarvis Jones. _________________

While G is a definite need in the near future for the Vikings, and I like the pick, I personally like T.J. McDonald in the second round more there if he is available. Nice job none the less! _________________

I like our first round pick of Werner. We like depth at DE and he'll help with that.
The second round pick is questionable to say the least. Our LB core actually looks set for the future with Brown, McCarthy and Ayers. We have much bigger needs and I don't know where Sean Porter would fit in with us. I'd much rather have Jonathan Cooper to help improve our interior line. |

I like Werner but not that high. Montgomery is the better DE but with that pick, I'd love Eric Reid. We need a playmaker in our secondary. In the 2nd, I'm not sure why you mocked us a LB, especially a SLB. Akeem Ayers is only in his 2nd year and has played pretty good this season. No need for a LB, just depth. We need to fix the interior O-Line, so Cooper would be great. _________________

Me likey for the Lions. I prefer Rhodes to Amerson and Dion Jordan could be a great pick in the 2nd, but it's great either way. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

Hit both of our needs but, I'd switch up the players.
I like Xavier Rhodes and Dion Jordan more but, I'd still be very happy with your version. _________________

He is no Ngata. I dont understand the comparisons. For a player at UTAH, you'd think hed absolutely dominate to be considered a first rounder. No pressure on the QB, I don't see a first round pick. With all the needs we have, unless a NT is seen as a can't miss franchise nose guard, which few are, we won't take one. We'll see how Josh Chapman plays, he will be activated off of the PUP list soon. Many see him as our NT of the future, he was a beast at Bama. Also, I do understand that with NTs, stats mean little. IMO, Jarvis Jones is the best pass rusher in the nation, and while Mathis is tearing it up, Pagano would love a future Suggs. We'd probably take Jones there. I understand the current pick, however. _________________

I agree with this TJ McDonald would likely be the pick.
S is a need as well, and USC is a school our GM loves to pick prospects from. _________________
