Giannis is such a boom or bust prospect. Put him at #1 or #2 and you'll either look like a genius or a fool

1. Leonard
2. Butler
3. Parsons
4. Barnes
5. Antetokounmpo
6. Harkless

Simon is actually right on this one. Giannis could end up being #1 or #6 on this list easily. We just haven't seen enough yet to know and probably won't for another couple years.

1. Leonard: Will not be a star like some people are claiming he will be, but he will be a very good 2nd option in the future.

2. Barnes: Has the potential to be the best guy out of the bunch.

3. Harkless: I really like Harkless, and he would have stayed another year he could have been a top 5 pick in this past draft.

4. Parsons: Solid player that has already reached his ceiling.

5. Butler: Going to be solid next to Rose.

6. Antetokounmpo: I was a fan of him coming out of the draft, but not like Im a fan of the 5 players before him. If he pans out I can see Nicolas Batum in him.

I'll never understand why Gordon Hayward gets absolutely no love on this forum. He averaged 14/3/3 while shooting 43/41/83 in only 29 minutes a night and will now be Utah's first option offensively. He's going to have a huge year.

Five years from now I'd rank the list:

1. Kawhi Leonard
2. Jimmy Butler
3. Chandler Parsons
4. Moe Harkless
5. Harrison Barnes
6. Giannis Antetokounmpo

I agree, I love Hayward also.

I think Jimmy Butler is better than Chandler Parsons, he just consistently offers more. Butler can knock down jumpers just as Parsons can do. The difference is, Butler is a great defender while Parsons is not. I'd easily take Butler over Parsons.

Agreed. He's going to put up 30+ Paul Pierce numbers this season.

Still, Parsons is nowhere near the defender that Butler is.

Exactly what i was going to say. Parsons can do everything. He can shoot and defend. He just isnt elite in 1 category.

Agree with yo on Hayward, Bo; then again, I do have a rather unnatural affinity for the current roster down in Utah.

As for the group at hand, since this is all just a shot in the dark based on a rather limited sample size for the majority of said players, I'd probably have to say in 5 years I would rank them like....

1. Barnes
2. Butler
3. Harkless
4. Leonard
5. Parsons
6. Antetokounpo

As others have said, you just have absolutely no clue what you're getting out of Antetokounpo. And no offense to Parsons who is a very good player, I just don't quite see him having the type of ceiling some of the other guys do, especially given the type of role he is expected to play on the Rockets now and for the foreseeable future (3rd/4th option).

1.) Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
2.) Jimmy Butler, Chicago Bulls
3.) Harrison Barnes, Golden State Warriors
4.) Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs
5.) Moe Harkless, Orlando Magic
6.) Chandler Parsons, Houston Rockets

If you got the chance to see Giannis in his first live NBA action on Tuesday, you'd understand that he's not going to be a bust. The kid already gets it. His work ethic is impeccable and he's got the basketball IQ to go with it. As he continues to develop, he's going to come onto the scene like a boss.
