Damn. What a blower. Such a shame. Rest in Peace Mr. Modell. And thanks for bringing football back to Baltimore. _________________

He had a lot of enemies, but ultimately I'm grateful for what he did for the city of Baltimore and the Ravens, and frankly the people that will be dancing on his grave need a dose of perspective.
As a friend of mine from HS was one of Art's granddaughters, this is especially personal. RIP Art. _________________

For what its worth, the vast majority of Cleveland fans are not celebrating but mourning. Sad both for the death of a man who did a lot of good and for the legacy (both positive and negative) he left on the league and the city of Cleveland. _________________

RIP Mr. Modell.
You are the reasons Sundays will forever be purple in Baltimore. You will be missed. _________________

Indeed RIP. I really am appreciative of him for bringing this city the Ravens organization. May the players, coaches, and fans play coach and cheer this upcoming game in his honor. _________________

Thoughts and Prayers for the Modell family. Thankful for Art bringing us something to cheer for on Sundays.
'The Move' aside he was pivotal in the NFL bringing it to the forefront in the TV market and aiding in bringing Monday Night Football to the league. A key cog to the current stature of the NFL. _________________

since he has passed, when do you think he will be elected to the HoF? |

Man, what a blow. Terrible news
I know how much the man meant to Baltimore but being from Toronto, I couldn't really grasp all of it. Now seeing the words spoken by players, friends, coaches. It really shows the man's impact. This is a sad day in the football world.
Thanks for bringing a team to Baltimore that I love and cheer for. May you rest in peace.
Condolences to the family and anybody who new him
RIP Art! _________________

It may still take a while for him but who knows if his passing gets some of the voters to change their minds. Hearing on the radio he never reallymade it to a final ballot for the hall of fame.
Gotta say it is silly that the Football hall of fame lumps everyone together in the vote (players coaches commentators owners etc.) _________________
