I'd hate to see it, but it could come down to the $$$ like always

Doubt it, cant lose Clady. Manning would get killed and Long is too good to let go

Philbin and Ireland have said that their offense doesn't require an elite LT.
So yes, Long might be available.
How much will he cost?

I'm assuming a ton Laughing

Idk what the going rate is for elite LTs, but he will be the highest paid one in the league after his contract

And he would be worth it. Can you imagine?

Long-Britton-Meester/Rackley-Nwaneri/Rackley-Monroe

That would be a beautiful thing.

He's going to go for big, big money if he hits the open market. He'll make Mario Williams' contract this past offseason look like peanuts.

Doubt it, he is banged up and has a back issue, doesn't he?

And Mario has ended up on IR each of the past two seasons.

I think Long only had the one back issue last December, but I'm not sure.

I thought it was still lingering through the offseason?
Maybe not, but I still wouldn't mind spending that type of money on a known commodity.

He'll cost some poor team a fortune.

It's a good thing we aren't in the market for a left tackle.

I would have Long as the RT and Monroe as the LT. Just my opinion, although Gene Smith said that he thinks Long is RT playing LT.
