Chris Coleman's barmy army.
Gonna leave for the stadium in 20 minutes. I can't wait to see us get destroyed by Belgium in front of 15,000 people. These friday games are absolutely terrible. They need to be played on a saturday at 3pm. _________________

Frank scores for England, Diaby for France and RVP for Holland.
Ox & Cleverly really enjoyable to watch up front for England. _________________

OX sets up Defoe for the 3rd. Nice little run by Chamberlain and simple angled ball. Keeper needs to save that kind of angle though. _________________

Kompany scores for Belgium.
And even Moldova can't make James Milner look good.. _________________

Ireland pulled out 2-1 at the death. 89th minute penno from Keane, 90th minute winner from Doyle.
Abysmal performance on the whole, even given it was away. Trap has a lot of work to do _________________

Going to be at Hampden for Scotland v Serbia tomorrow.
Will be a great atmosphere, but I have my doubts we'll do anything (either in this game or in qualification in general). Mihajlovic is a looney as manager though, kicked a few players out of the squad for refusing to sign his contract about singing the national anthem, so I suppose that helps in tomorrow's game. _________________

I am both Belgian and American. I am very happy the Rode Duivels won today. I listened to the match on the Sportza radio today. I am happy the next match will be on ESPN 3.com . Anyway, I really think they can win the group and go pretty deep in the World Cup.
As for the Americans, it is pretty disappointing tonight but hopefully they rebound from it. I expect them to do so. |

Had to go to some stupid meal with work so missed England. Heard Clevs played really well which is good considering how awful he was at Southampton.
I just watched the first half of Netherlands-Turkey; what a game. Great header again by RVP against zonal marking. I have no idea how Turkey were losing at half time. Arda Turan played really well, but missed a 1v1 that he created for himself. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

Surprised Uruguay were beaten so badly by Columbia. I think the Falcao led could definitely make a push to be the 5th team from Conmebol to make the finals and you'd assume along with Brazil not having to qualify that Argentina will, and with Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay and maybe Venezuela all vying for spots it will be tight in the end. _________________
