I feel cool because I said earlier that both of these guys would be great. I'm never right on my predictions! _________________ I <3 Kate Upton and Ezekiel Ansah, just FYI

His upside may not be "high" but I think I would compare him to Matt Ryan as far as that kind of thing is concerned. Good right away and may take him a while to take "the next step" but he will.
If the Jags do fall apart and end up with the #1 overall pick, I can't see how we wouldn't select him. Though I don't know if we would let go of Blaine Gabbert either. Could you imagine if we took Geno Smith and then both panned out? | No, because that would require Gabbert panning out. |

The two fumbles kinda sucked, although the second was more on his line, but still: 24 TDs 0 INTs. _________________ Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and Bruce Irvin will all have at least 1 pro bowl season each by the end of the decade.

Not his best game but plaed with some short fields so hm throing over under 300+ was to do more with Tavon long returnsand the fact Texas was begging them to run the ball...But withut Buie trpping on a wide ope catch and the very sure handed JD Woods dropping a ball he would hae had 6 TDs and had another great game
Most impressive thing was going in front of 100,000 for the 1st time having two fumbles yet he stayed calm didnt seem to faze him and he came out and helped his team get the go ahead score |

They could be this year's version of Luck/Fleener or Griffin/Wright. _________________

Dont sleep on Bailey 13 TD's so far
Note of Tavon he had i think it was 4 or 5 drops last year and said he wouldnt have ANY this year and so far has made some great grabs and caught everything in sight |

Curious as to how Geno Smith would 'pan out' as wel as Gabbert...given that there are only so many starting reps and honestly...it's either one or the other in that situation.
You don't draft Geno Smith and let Gabbert continue to develop. If you go QB that high, he's a day 1 starter. And it means Gabbert is toast. That's all there is to it...if Gabbert were to develop in that situation...it would be with another team. |

It's a dangerous idea to think in terms of absolute certainty when it comes to football. _________________

I do some work with WVU and the people that work there that have talked to him all say he's a great person. Just a very intelligent, well spoken, nice person. FWIW... _________________

Yeah, everything I've read/seen about him has all been great things. He's been well-spoken and humble in every interview.
The kid apparently has an incredible work ethic. Everyone knows about how after the Baylor game when asked about how he thought he did, all he said was that he plans on going to the film room all week and finding out why he had 6 incompletions and fixing them.
I don't see Barkley going ahead of him at all at this point. It's laughable how much better Geno is than Barkley.
Also, did someone really say his ceiling isn't that high??? His ceiling is MASSIVE. His ceiling isn't Matt Ryan...he has the potential to be elite. _________________

Ceiling might be higher, RG3 would probably create more with his legs and his arm is phenomenal. Geno's accuracy is better, he makes all the throws, I just wanna see him when he gets in work with Pro coaches on his mechanics, they need slight adjustments _________________
