great move by both sides.

coming out of college and into the draft, Laurinaitis was one of my favorite prospects in the entire draft. I have tOSU, and Laurinaitis is probably the only player to come out of tOSU that I dont despise. Im glad he has lived up to expectations, and has even out played those expectations. After losing Lofton in FA, I would kill to have Laurinaitis at MLB for my Falcons

The best part of these deals (Daryl Washington and Calais Campbell in Arizona and James Laurinaitis for St. Louis) is that these players are still ascending and when their technical understanding of the game match their physical abilities then we will really see the impact they can make on a consistent basis. Excellent extension for the Rams!
