Evidently, it was Adderall. Based on what just happened to Tyler Sash, I'm afraid this suspension is probably true. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

Steroids, I assume? Would be interesting, if true. They're schedule is brutal as it is. How will they handle losing one of their top players? _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Read the article. It's Adderall, the ADD medication. Same thing that happened to Tyler Sash of the Giants.
I can't see any way the league doesn't suspend Haden for this, since the exact same thing just happened to Sash.

As I understand - Adderall is used to treat ADHD but it can also be used to mask steroids which is why it is banned by the NFL. Some players have had suspensions reduced or rescinded if they can prove the need for the drug.
It's a huge blow to the Browns defence that is already missing Fujita, Gocong, Taylor and now maybe Haden. I don't think their secondary depth is enough to keep them competitive for any length of time. |

That will be a big loss for the Browns.

It can also be abused as with any 'script.
In some cases I guess it could be considered a performance enhancer due to heightened concentration and focus.

As long as the bold portion of your post remains an issue, I feel as though whether any player in question can prove the need to take Adderall, the suspicion involved with automatically result in league enforced punishment.
Bummer for Haden and the Browns if he really needed it, but that there is the nature of the beast. _________________

There's either a serious disconnect between the league releasing the list of banned substances to everyone in the league or players are getting dumber by the day. This is the second suspension for someone taking ADD medication, so it makes me wonder if the league is doing a very good job at distributing the list to players and communicating the ways certain supplements can cause a failed test. _________________
